£1.29 Double Cheeseburger AND pay just 60p for each extra burger in one bun @ Burger King - ENDS TODAY!

We all know about their double cheeseburger for just £1.29 but they will let you add as many 'pattys' as you like on top (I am guessing it has got to be within reason?!) for just 60p each.

They really are hitting back at McDonald's now!

This was advertised at Swindon on a white background under their main menu with "How many can you handle" so I can't see why it won't be national - Please confirm.

So for example an extra 5 would be an extra £3 (7 burgers for £4.29)

This offer was originally for the XL burgers and they are £1 for each extra burger but we don't care about that.

Lol. Ask for 100 for an instant heart attack
5 is reasonable? :O
This sounds amazing to me. I would like to know what they mean by "within reason" or was that added by the OP?

For you and the staff.
So it cost 60p per burger?
So how about I order a double cheeseburger £1.29 and ask for them to take a burger off, that's -60p off the price, I should now be paying 69p for a cheeseburger!

Yes, I added that because it would be impossible to get your mouth around a 100 burger and impossible to make too.

I think the limit is 100 patties.

They need to use sticks that you skewer through the middle of the burger, plus I've often eaten burgers with a knife and fork so being able to get my chops around the burger is no obstacle.

Don't see why they'd care how many extra you'd want, I suppose the limit is how many they can realistically cook at one time, if they can only cook 20 at a time then the first 80 would be cold. You're paying 60p a time, if you want 1000 I don;t see why they;d care

And a diet coke too!
Bring some bread rolls with you and have a family meal for less than a fiver lmao.
I used to work in BK, extra bacon was 30p and extra cheese was 15p a slice.
You've always been able to add extra patties and there wouldn't be a limit. Their slogan used to be 'have it your way'.
The biggest burger we did was a bacon double excel with an extra 4 patties, 2 pieces of cheese and bacon per patty we just used the whopper foil wraps and easily managed it. It was able 9 inches tall and the drunkard that ordered it threw most of it away as we discovered at the end of the shift when leaving.

9p is worth it for the extra cheese alone.
Order 2 double cheeseburgers but ask for the lids to be put separately in the bag then you can have a quad cheeseburger for £2.58 saving yourself money on the extra cheese slices.

Are the patties of both cheeseburgers and whoppers the same price?

And, of course Pizza Hut went the other way

They whopper patties were more expensive, this was a while ago though, even though I've noticed not much has changed when I've watched them as a customer reminiscing!
