This 12ft x 30" swimming pool is made from high quality, durable material. Its self rising so all you need to do is inflate the top ring, insert the hose & let the water do the work. It also comes with an external filter pump.

It only takes two people an average of 10 minutes to set up with no tools required, and then you're in, relaxing and splashing away as much of the day as you'd like. Also it's durable, featuring triple-strong sidewalls made of three layers of material for reinforced strength. It's much quicker and easier than traditional steel-walled pools and nearly as tough. It also has a convenient drain plug that connects to your garden hose so the water can be drained away from the pool when youve finished with it.

Above ground pools are great for people that are looking to get a swimming pool. Theyre relatively cheap compared to in ground pools as theres no installation required & you dont have to dig up the grass in your garden. There are quite a few different styles & sizes available so its best to decide where you want the pool before you purchase so you can get an idea of the size that you need.

Also think about who will be using the pool. If you have young children you may want to consider a pool ladder that will make getting in & out of the pool much safer & easier.

Heat is also an important factor because although the sun is out there will be a lot of water to heat up. The best way to heat your pool is with a heater to take the chill off & then a solar cover to retain the heat over night so it can be used the again the next day. If you are going to put your new pool on the grass then you could also look at breathable ground sheets. They allow the air to circulate under the pool & prevent the grass from dying.

Features:

12ft Easy setup pool set High quality material Includes an external filter pump Size 12ft x 30 Water capacity 2270 Litres Weight - 14kg

Ahhh... sorry mate  searched CyberCheckout should have been Cyber Checkout

If you have one of these you may get compulsory metered if your neighbours grass you up LOL

I remember these were cheap at the end of last summer too and everyone saying 'Lets hope we get a summer next year' - Not a chance :giggle:

We got the ten foot one when it was on offer at B and Q for £25. Took so long to fill that in the end we only half filled it. The kids are enjoying it but you do need quite a lot of space and be prepared to leave it up for a few weeks or it's not really worth it.

good for next summer if we get one next year, yeh right :thumbsup:
good price if the prediction is good got august

Pic is of a 12' by 36'' ( You can tell cos of the gray ring). You need to get the chemicals. Will soon go green if not looked after well, lots of help on the internet.

You also need a FLAT garden otherwise the pool cannot be filled correctly. Obviously water will find the level and if the pool is on a slant then one side could be up to the brim and the other side half way down the pool. If you have a slopping garden one answer is to 'dig out' the side of a slope in order to give a level area for the pool to be sited but it's a lot of work. Also, even if the weather is hot the water will not be! In fact, it can be really cold. The water heaters for these cost a fair whack to run. You can get 'solar' covers for them. They are used to cover the pool when not in use but they also absorb sunlight and pass the heat through into the water. They make a slight difference. You need to leave the pool filled for the whole summer season otherwise it really is FAR too much work filling and empting (Ours took a good 6 hours to fill and we left it over night to empty through the hose connected to the outlet and into a drain). Due to having to leave it out and filled for the summer you MUST use a chemical treatment to keep it clean and free from any nasty stuff that your kids or you might swallow!!!

We got rid of ours. Too much work!

Hope that helps.

Hello I decided to purchase this swimming pool, could i just purchase any 12ft swimming cover to go on this or do i need to buy a specific make?

Thanks for the help

Just remember if you use it on grass, you'll have a massive 12ft Crop circle, when you take it down after the summer

I'm kind of with you on that, 2270 Litres is a lot of water how much is that going to cost to fill?, would be nice in the back garden but I went for a water meter so I be meter watching if I got one.;-)

Had a 15 ft one last year and it got attacked by a mouse in the garage over the winter. Now got a 12ft one. 5000 litres of water is 5 cubic metres. About £1.00 per metre supplied and £1.00 per metre sewage costs me £10 each time i fill it. A box of chemicals costs £20.00 for the kit and lasts the summer. £30 running costs for a summers fun well worth it IMHP.

Only takes 10 minutes to test and treat the water, no great hardship and my 2 love it.

Fair enough cheers for the info, not too bad then really.

Only buy one of these with your eyes open, they are not for everyone.

You really need a prepared piece of ground where you can leave this to stand for the whole summer, you can't just put it up on the odd hot day. It takes half a day to fill and half a day to empty but worst of all it takes a week to warm up. My kids hated it, it was so cold.

Too big for a paddling pool not big enough for a swimming pool. I used mine once, never again.

Pretentious? Wanting to entertain your kids is pretentious is it?

How could the answer to that ever be no?. The pretentious part is wanting something in your garden that belongs in a villa in the med, that takes thousands of gallons of precious water that is then just flushed down the drain. All in the name of what?. Look at us, look at us in our swimming pool!. It's not a pool it's a horrendous waste of a vital resource.
The fact that you have turned it around to entertaining your kids is really sad. You are pretentious.

Boring

clint thrust has a point though. Under 16s can now swim free under the Government’s £140 million free swimming initiative at over 1000 local pools.

A friend had a pool like this up and he still has the round mark on his lawn 2 years after it came down. He too agreed it wasn't worth the hassle in the end. The water was cold and the kids were fighting in it when they used it. He also had it near a tree and pigeons used to cr ap in it quite often.

Lol @ precious resource. Only 2 thirds of the planet's surface is covered in the stuff, we'd better not stick it in giant paddling pools, if all 6 billion people on earth did it then it would tie up 0.002% of the water! That's more than 0.1% of the ice caps!
