New seasonal offer - 12GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for £10 (30 day bundle).

Offer is valid 1st November to 9th January, so would suit someone looking for a disposable SIM over a few months with a decent amount of data as well as unlimited minutes/texts. After the 9th Jan suggest looking for something else as data reverts to 2GB.

Offer is at Asda mobile (powered by EE).

Sly, misleading deal. Cold.

They piggyback off EE.
Used to be Vodafone until 2013.

Which mobile network are they using ?

Got it... Asda Mobile is powered by EE, the UK's biggest network.

EE I believe

Its EE. What does the bit "until bundle launch" mean

Is this permanent, or their annual Christmas offer?

Should I wait until tomorrow to order the sim or is the offer live now? A bit confused

Think it's the usual Xmas offering...could be wrong though...

Wait until tomorrow

Are EE any good?

This 30 day bundle is available in the UK only from 1st November 2017 - 9th January 2018.

Does that mean we only get 2gb data after 9th January ?

It looks like it. This annual deal always goes hot and it's great value if you want a "disposable" sim for over December-January.

2GB of data for £10 a month thereafter isn't that good.

This is what I thought. OK for xmas but not so good after that.

Ive not read all the terms but I take the banner as implying its a 10gb bonus only until 9th January. Not 12gb for £10 for as long as you are a customer. I could be wrong though!

So it's only 2Gb really, you just get 12Gb over xmas?

Had this deal last year although it was 20gb, it reverts back to the 2gb after 9th January,

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered the free sim, which comes pre-connected to the network, pre-loaded with 10 mins free, plus10 texts, and 10mb data, which is very handy! Then just top up with what you choose each month, including Chanchi's deal above, which has to be the best option from 1st November 2017 - 9th January 2018.

Mods get ready, if this is like the last few years this will get posted again and again.

Heat added

Proper misleading deal

Three deal via TCB is 12 gb every month for 12 months and after cash back works out at £7 pm

What's the point?
Looks like a really cynical deal to me.
12gb for a couple of months and then they have you by the short & curlies and revert to 2gb hoping you'll cough up £10 for a few months before the penny drops and you switch.
Voted cold.

ideal for those visiting family in the UK over the festive season.

shame really - voted cold - would of been all over this like a rash if it was permanent 30 day rolling contract.

The UK's overpriced network.

I have ordered a free SIM now - will I get this deal?

Hey Chanchi32, so can I order the sim today and activate the package when it goes live?

Tried Asda a few months ago and bought a bundle.

Sometimes the text messages wouldn't send (had hundreds left) and the 4G data sometimes stopped working.
They also have issues calling some UK mobile numbers within the 'free' minutes as they called them.

Fine for the 12GB but a very flaky virtual network

This payg? Cold

Whys this so hot, if it was 12GB forever then it would be, boooooooooooooooooooo

Ask me another?, hahahahahaha.

I was SERIOUSLY hoping it was forever gooooooooood!. :-D

As I would blatantly have given up on my current Network, and would have bounced onto this one sharpish!, lol. ;-)

But it's still a goooooden enough nonetheless I guess?. :-)

Hot for some!

Hot for a couple of months
Then I want my heat back

Could I use this in my Three mobile broadband router for data only? I am nearly running out of my 40gb per month amount and need it to fill the gap for a few days. Any problems with doing this?

What does the 'UK Only' tag mean? Bundle can't be used for roaming in EU?
