Not a bad price for low end usage I get 40gb data, unlimited mins/texts for £12 month on EE (after telling them 7 times I’m leaving as too expensive)
Virgin gave me 12gb and unlimited mins + text for £12
they phoned me up.
Tethering isn't allowed, that's mentioned on the iD Mobile FAQ page: idmobile.co.uk/hel…faq

I tether all the time and never had any problems. Although I don't take the **** and stream loads of video. Mainly just so I can browse and do uni work on my laptop wherever I want.

Also you could get £3 cashback from quidco or Topcashback for a monthly rolling contract.

Note: I cannot see any mention of whether tethering is allowed?

Not really ,but if you get your free 3 number registered with Wuntu then you can use it in any network. There was a thread reply here before.

Retention offers are always good (Real bargain) I get £10 AYCE data, 300 mins (don't use much of the mins) on THREE.

Great deal, only if network was as good as deal.
You can tether on it no problem at all, they simply don't "support" it... ie don't try phoning them up if you have any issues with it.

Great deal. Got one similar to this with 3 earlier this year. With 3,you get GoRoam and tethering but with 12 months contract.

So, it means we can use it, either way we pay over the allowance charge, is that correct?

Cold for me. No tethering, and for a bit less you can get a Vodafone deal for 20GB.
Have some heat - me thinks it's time to switch - I'm currently paying £12/month with Virgin mobile and only getting 8Gb/month...

vodafone also has no tethering, correct? But like I said above, I've tethered on this network for years now with no problems.
I've had no problem tethering with ID. But I only use it on the odd occasion my broadband goes down.
And give me a 30 day rolling contract any day over a year.
Great deal.

You can tether on Vodafone. Cuz I was going to get their Vodafone deal through car-phone warehouse and check about tethering and it was fine to tether. That was just recently on Black Friday.
Nice. Was on 8GB 500mins for £10. Switched to this in app with a couple of clicks. Update within minutes. Well worth the extra £2 per month for another 4GB. I certainly get through it.

cheers OP

I tether my phone to my laptop on the train almost every day, and have never had a problem doing so.
Goddamn it, I JUST got the 10GB for £13 last week. I won't be able to change will I, as I've been with them less than 30 days?
Thank you for posting - upgraded my plan
On the grand sceme of things it is only 3 paltry GB a week (shock). We know they can do 100g for £10-00, & I doubt that was hardly breaking their bank.

Where’s this deal? Or are you on about those redemption deals most people can’t be bothered with the hassle with?

If you go into the app and look at 'changing my plan', it should be listed in there (I'm not eligible for upgrades yet but it was an option for me). I believe you should be able to switch it, but it might not take effect until next month. Failing that you can always call them and try your luck over the phone.
Very good deal, and its on a rolling monthly too so heat from me.
Can you hotspot tether? If not anyone got a good provider that allows it pls
Heat, with a caveat...
They had me, I was buying, all they needed to do was let me pick my start date, but no. Guess they'll just have to hope I remember to switch when my Giffgaff Goodybag run out.

Not available on the app and no luck on the phone. Ugh.

Depends though if you want to hassle with cashback or not.
Is this better than Voxi?

I use their network and tether all the time with no extra charges, but believe that if you prefer. I already explained what their position is, as have many other actual users in this thread.

Remember, after 6 months you are eligible to upgrade to a 2yr handset contract if so you wish.

Only negative is its a 12 month contract.

I need to use this for one month only. Can I cancel once activated so it doesn't carry on into the next month?
it is available on the app for existing customers. I upgraded using it last night and my new plan was up and running within 10 minutes.
