Bellarom Espresso Whole Beans1.2kg

Felt the need to single this deal out for it's shear value for money. That's just £6.66 a KG - Devilishly good value.

Recently bought coffee machine and using lavazza beans but about to finish. Is this any good?
I'd like to know too! Currently using the smaller 200g bag Lidl 100% Arabica Bellarom Colombian Supremo and find them excellent for the money. Have yet to try the Espresso ones here
Same i like the columbian lidl beans really nice and nutty taste. Any opinions and reviews on these espresso pack?
It’s not bad at all I usually stock up on a few of these when XXL you won’t go wrong for the price
Not a big fan of this particular one; the Italiamo is a much nicer coffee.
I prefer the Lavazza Rosso but these beans aren't bad, especially at the price.

Would you say these are similar to Rosso?

The Rosso beans might be slightly smoother but I don't think there's a huge difference.

The difference should be quite significant as bellarom is 100% arabica while Rossa (not Rosso) is blend of arabica and robusta.
Damn, saw XXL and thought this deal was for PPE.
Will keep looking...
Can anyone confirm this is NI too? Can't see it on NI website:

Lavazza Oro beans at 2 for £6 in Tesco are my absolute favourite. £6 for 500g vs £6.66 per 1kg in this deal, but beans are so cheap per cup anyway double isn't much.

Think id prefer lavazza but you should be able to get through that 1.2kg, depending on how fussy you are

I currently buy costa beans 1kg, I preasume someone nicks them from costa express locations and sells on marketplace, but I think id still prefer lavazza over this

Have a look on your local search for "costa beans"

ebay.co.uk/itm…297

I buy this £12 cash locally, but seen as low as £10
I use Lavazza Rosso and the cost difference between them and these isn't big enough for me to risk being stuck with 'ok' coffee if it doesn't quite hit the spot like Lavassa does. I'd only pull the trigger if I could try a smaller, cheaper pack first.

A good Lidl coffee is thr Italian Arabica only, not the "espresso". Nor is this.

Have you tried this one? Any thoughts if you have
Personal opinion only (it always is with coffee, despite what the 'experts' might claim):

Adequate, but with a bitterness that comes from over-roasting the beans. Good value, but only if you bear that in mind. And that's assuming the blend hasn't changed.
I have. It's bad. You can have the rest of the bag.. It's old, stale, no crema, no body, overly dark roasted.

We like the smoothness and flavour of Lavassa, i tried this and found it slightly bitter with a stronger flavour. If you like sharper flavour you may enjoy this but we had a few cups and i gave them away...
Got these beans last time they were on offer, they're not great, in my opinion Lidls Italian blend beans which is £1.60 ish for 200g are far better

Anything to be gained with mixing them 50/50 with something more to your palette? I read that some do that with decaff beans if they find them a little flavourless? Genuine question.
Another vote for their very good value Italian roast beans. In my taste test Aldi's Colombian was the clear winner in our house.
Hi can anyone who has bought these beans before tell me if there the dull looking beans or the shiny ones please.
Buy the 1kg bags of Italian beans during Italian week. Great value and a good depth of flavour in my opinion
