whats automatic cashback? how does it work?

you dont have to claim anything. after 90 days of connection, they will check if you contract is still active (you havent cancelled) and they will send you a cheque in the 12months free case you get £260 after 90days of connection.

as an aside, you can make the cost cheaper if after nine months into your contract(all providers require min 9months before you downgrade tariffs), you downgrade to the lowest priced plan available (by then you have already obtained your cashback) hence reducing your total contract cost further...

how to choose automatic cashback in e2save? I cannot see such an option. Can anybody help?

EDIT: Figured out. There is a link 'Autocashback' at the left. Cheers.

give it a few moments... i think the guys are still updating the website before they head home...

thanks golo83.

One more question If I downgrade after 9 months, what is the minimum tariff on O2 that I can get. In O2 website the minimum pay monthly tariff is £25. Is that it? Thanks in advance.

i guess so but i'm unsure whether you can downgrad to a tariff that existed when you took your contract or just to an existing tariff at the time you are downgrading...

i just tried adding the G600 to my basket and checkout and it worked..may be you need to delete cookies or something?

I still can't do it with the Nokia 6300 or the LG chocolate. I also just noticed that they have removed all the free 12-month contracts.

If i go through quidco i cant buy the contract just takes me back to the previous page, but without quidco it lets me, wonder why?

I've noticed that in the past too. It appears that their website adapts to referrals, i.e. certain deals will or won't be shown depending on the referral.

Unfortunately I can no longer see the 12 month free deals direct or otherwise (but did see them earlier).

Still... hot!

Hopefully the 12month free deals will be back shortly.

Indeed despite the problems it's a hot deal.

email i received from them is a weird one...
sdm3.rm04.net/ctt…t=1

if you click on this you see a 12month free deal, then go straight to deal creator and ALL the £1.99 deals are now 12months free. problem is, you dont get £50 quidco!

Thanks for the heads up! Good way to get my Mum her new phone contract but let me pay for a PS3 over 12 months!

Best deal I get for the 6300 with PS3 on 12 months is with a further £20 cashback. Not bad when the PS3 is £280ish so means I am getting £300 value and, with luck, £50 Quidco so it is costing me £10 more for the year and I am getting the phone deal too.

I have an e2save O2 contract that is about to expire, I have also used it to get a fiver off O2 broadband.

If I took out a new contract with this offer - is there any way they would let me keep my number?

There are no mobiles listed on the page the offer links to.

if you are on O2, basically NO. you cannot transfer a number across the same network. you can however transfer it to a PAYG to another network say virgin/orange, then transfer to an O2 contract..but in theory the transfer to PAYG could take 5-10days

you can still get the broadband if you are on PAYG with O2 and top up (i think) £10 every three months...

Ive tried using 'top cash back' instead of 'quidco' and its letting me order through that, cashback is £26.50 for a contract phone

i think you need to clear your cookies so that when you are going through quidco it will seem that your computer is visiting e2save for the first time without any of the previous visits in memory. then you should be fine to order...

Have tried that its still taking me to the previous screen if i try and order the 12 months contracts

Its only linking to the 6300 now.

I posted an e2save deal about 4 weeks ago - than basically only seemed to show you the offers sometimes - but after a few days no one had managed to buy - and now this one seems to not work large parts of the time too.

I think e2save might need to spend a bit of time getting their site to be a bit more stable.

if you then click on deal creator on the left, it shows all the ones which are 12months free...but going via quidco it doesnt show up...weird

Not 100% sure if this will work, but it seems to have!!:-D
Click on the link at the start of this thread to go to the E2save deal. It takes you to the Nokia 6300 12 months free deal. Click "Buy Now" and go to the next screen. Click "Checkout" and it goes to the next screen.
Open up a new window and go to Quidco. Log in and go to E2save via Quidco. Click on "Basket" on the E2save home page and the Nokia 6300 12 months free deal should be in there!! Then go all the way through to Order Confirmation and as well as the 12 months free deal, Quidco will give you £50!!!!!
