Black And Decker 12v Hammer Drill KC123F

It might be a B&D but for the price of a Battery this makes an ideal spare considering it has Hammer Action.
Also only comes with one battery. Cant find the Ah anywhere else but have found other retailers pricing this over £50.00.

The Black and Decker 12v Hammer Drill with hammer action is ideal for those tough little jobs around the house.

Here's the technical bit:

Powerful 12 volt hammer action
5 Torque settings
10 mm keyless chuck
Variable speed
1 years manufacturers warranty

The Firestorm range is very good I paid £150 for the 18v version about 6+ years ago, i use it on the dirty jobs, to save my dewalt's lifespan, and its still going strong today, still as good as new, infact i bought a another as a spare which is still in the box!...

And B&D is the parent comany of Dewalt ;-)

Well I had a B&D for 4 or 5 years and it was the only drill I had and was frequently used. I threw it away when the battery finally died.

Bought a cheapo homebase model and threw that 9Mths later after using it twice. Useless!

Ordered and voted hot

Cheers

I'll order one because I need one .......... had the non hammer version for about 5 years - always useful.

However, last July when battery stopped charging I bought the the current equivalent as a replacement (Argos £24). Worked fine but new battery would not charge. Argos replaced - no probs. Replacement worked fine (battery comes charged), then two weeks ago after a period of non-use battery would not charge again. Argos gave me my money back when I declined a replacement. Perhaps there might have been a batch of dud batteries - anyone had similar?

Good price, thanks rizla

Anyone got a pic of the drill bit set it comes with?

Slightly off topic, I have ordered from Duck Electricals before and although delivery was about 7 days from placing my orders, I've found they reply to emails pretty fast and if you need to phone them they are very helpful and friendly.

Didn't know it had one.

Bonus if it has.:)

Well I'm after a drill, since I don't have one and I tend to go up to my parents to nick theirs if I need one.

Looking on froogle for "hammer drill cordless" @ £30-40 seems to get you higher voltage and set pieces in a box with all the pieces you need. Which is what I wouldnt mind having, for the right price ofc

If I didn't already have enough of these then I would have had these as well.

There you go - £2 over the £30 delivered - Sold to Schizoboy.:)

I'm hesitant on this, cos I want it to last and I want something powerful to drill into the walls, inside and out of my house...

Regards to delivery.

I ordered this yesterday.

Just phoned to add to my order and it has already left w/house so had to place separate order.

Lady on phone waived the second postage charge tho.:)

Ordered one for me dad.
thanks OP

Now sold out :-(

However, ordered a new B&D Jigsaw off there for £15 + delivery. Just what I needed as our 12 yd old B&D one finally bit the dust last weekend - still works but the button doesn't spring back meaning it doesn't stop once started - slightly dangerous.

Not really the tool for heavy duty work.

These tend to come in handy as a back up - when you can't be bothered to get the extension reel out to plug in the daddy drill. Make a good extra screw driver when putting together the new flat pack.

Ordered Saturday - arrived Thursday.

I've got a spare drill here if you want it . I ordered it initially then tried to cancel as I re-ordered another drill but I also wanted the jigsaw . Well , both orders turned up today , I've opened the drill & jigsaw package but the other one is still in the grey plastic envelope .

All I want is paid price plus postage , £20 delivered assuming I can send it for the same cost from the post office

If anyone wants this drill for £20 delivered best be quick as I'm arranging a returns collection this afternoon .

I didn't even get offered a choice :x

Delivered today. Very good for this price.

SaturDIYday - wasn't sure the hammer action on this would be any good, but just put 4 holes in the living room wall (plaster+brick) with no difficulty. Well pleased!

Has anyone bought this drill bit set of duck.co.uk?

I purchased the drill bit set and to my surprise a Bosch IXO Cordless Screwdriver (priced at £35 + P&P) was delivered instead. Checked the delivery note and cleary states Bosch 100 Piece Accessory Set and have only been billed the £11.99 + P&P (price of the drill bit set).

I decide to keep this as it seemed a good deal for the price I paid tho Thinking this was a one off mistake I placed another order for the drill bit set as I really need a new drill bit set and to my surprise I recieved another Bosch IXO Cordless Screwdriver.Again delivery note states Bosch 100 Piece Accessory Set priced at £11.99 and again been billed for only £11.99 + P&P.

So has anyone who actually ordered this drill bit set actually recieved the drill bit set or has everyone like myself recieved a far more expensive cordless screwdriver????
