Just what I've always wanted and needed, play my music on a crappy 1" speaker in a bulb.

Do you play a lot of music in the dark ?

No, but I play a lot of music in the daytime when I'd rather not have a light on.
What an odd idea. You could really freak someone out if they didn't know it was there and they suddenly could hear music or strange sounds coming from "nowhere".

Nice idea, but the bulb would have to be on for the speaker to work, which is a bit limiting.

I "hate" this app!!! Should have uninstalled long time ago. I ordered the bulb earlier only to realise that i have only spotlights around the house. I guess i'll have to wait for a deal for a lamp that will fit my bulb now

We're all spotlights at ours as well but I bought 2 as stocking-stuffers for the sons-in-law!

You seem to be under the misapprehension that this will be the only present they get from me. It's touching how much you seem to care I guess!

Ah, didn't realise you could control the light via the remote. £1.68 for a remote control light is a bargain with or without bluetooth.

It's called "Tat that ends up in landfill" sadly; people will buy these as gifts ("stocking fillers") probably containing rare earth elements, the recipient will be like, what the furk?, forget about it, never use it then chuck it out four months later.
jaques_kalis20/09/2019 13:36

.. except it's not; they'll either not work, flicker, be the wrong colour temperature, fail after a few months, or all of the above.

Then you'll be back to spending more money to replace them.

Perfect for Hallowe'en! Why no BNC or Bayonet fitments though? No heat as the deal has already been posted...
Feel sorry for the kids of today who just listen to music from single Bluetooth speakers and never experienced the sound of true stereo with a nice rich bass
this is admittedly very cheap but i've had a similar one before and it's so dim - 350lm is next to useless in a single fitting
Voted hot! Stupid comments such as 'tat, killing the environment' and so on. First of all this is a LED bulb, cheaper than a regular LED bulb. Wheater it has a speaker or not, or if you use it or not is irrelevant, it is cheaper to buy these than a regular bulb, so why not!

Had 2 from Wilko, paid £0.50 each 2 years ago and use them as regular bulbs. Working perfectly.

If you have an Ikea nearby, they sell adaptors, 2 for £1.

It is tat. And nobody said it's "killing the environment", or anything like that.
This is one of the dumbest concepts i've ever come across. The only thing it's missing is the word "smart", and an app to go along with it...

...still bought it though.
