13 nights all inclusive, marmaris, turkey, flying from manchester on the 1st may 2013 and returning 14th may, price includes 20kg baggage and transfers, flying with monarch, price based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing a 1 bedroom family apartment. slightly dearer just for 2 adults sharing a double or twin room but not that much.

PLEASE NOTE, LINK IS NOT WORKING, JUST ENTER THE DETAILS MANUALLY INTO THEIR SEARCH AREA AND YOU WILL GET THAT PRICE...THX

Staying at the recently refurbished (june 2011) Club ege antique, recent reviews seem very good, as it's only re-opened just over a year ago not many people have been, hence the lack of reviews, hotel looks really nice and wont stop at this price for very long in my opinion. link for their website and flight times below.

Also only £1 deposit needed to secure the hotel and transfer, the rest can be paid as late as april 2013, flights must be paid in full when booking though.

Recently, refurbished and re-opened, hence the lack of reviews and low ranking, however the reviews at the moment seem very positive and once word spreads and it's starts getting booked up the ranking will rise and inevitably so will the price, grab it now while it's a bargain.

Been to Turkey once at the same time of year. This is roughly the first week of the season and prices can be lower, but give it a week and they start going up.

We went to Fethiye and the hotel and food was amazing! Staff were the friendliest hotel staff I'd ever met and they would never stop working hard, all day long.

Weather was superb (early 30s every day & clear blue skies) and it cost just under £700 for the two of us - flights, all inclusive, transfers, hotel etc., etc. for 10 days (not 7). That was in 2010. We stayed in a hotel called Majesty Club Tuana and it was superb. Currently that's ranked no. 11 out of 103 hotels in Fethiye (it was no.6 at that time).

We liked it so much that we wanted to go back a couple of months later in July - cost had gone up to something like £800 each! It seems we got lucky with booking the first week of the season and they had just opened up from winter closure. We booked about a week or so before. We also looked to book in the school summer holidays a few weeks later - nothing, completely sold out!

We haven't been back to Turkey because although the hotel was amazing, it was in the middle of nowhere and the nearest town was a fairly poverty stricken place - no nightlife there at all, just very poor local people. We've since been to Tenerife several times purely because there is so much nightlife and other restaurants there.

Anyway, back to this deal, for all inclusive I think it's a pretty good deal (ours in 2010 was about £345 per person, but for 10 days AI) so for 13 nights AI this seems a bargain, with a little bit of risk to go with it.

Ok, hotel reviews are mixed but for the price I really don't think you can go wrong. As one reviewer said, there was no real entertainment in this hotel but quite a bit outside in bars and things - the point she was making was that as she had paid for AI, why should she go outside?

That's my only reservation - we don't like AI anymore as it does seem to tie you to the hotel all day, whereas we now go SC so that we can go out and eat where we like and see a lot more of places. Cost works out about the same.

So for this price, with AI AND restaurants/nightlife outside for £287 each I'd say go for it!

Nice to see that one out of four posters of this simple sentence managed to be relatively literate. No capital letter at the start of the sentence, admittedly, and no apostrophe in doesn't, but still infinitely less cringe-worthy than:

Good heads up for those down south, add an extra £40pp for baggage though

When you click on the link, then just click on the home page icon (or whatever it was called) and it will take you to the search page.

Put in the exact same dates/flights that the OP gave and it comes up - it came up for me saying the price has now increased. Then select the same hotel and it comes up.

Then go through and add bags and transfers and it will come up with the total of £1,182.99 - which is now £295 per person.

So it's slightly more now at £295, but I would say looking at the other hotel options for about the same price you could pick an even better place. But overall the deal for 13 days AI will cost around £300 per person for 2 adults and 2 kids (under 12).
Yeah, the OP's original deal probably included 4 x bags. Considering the allowance is 20kgs per bag, you could probably get away with 3, perhaps even 2 bags with 2 kids so that will have you £34 or £68 overall. Hand luggage is 10kgs so quite generous.

Yep had a look and confirmed. Another great deal but again, looking at the other hotels on offer for similar prices, I would probably choose something else. But a great deal so why don't you pick the best hotel for similar price and post it as a deal - it WILL go hot!

Lol! There are always hotels from hell.

When we went to Tenerife in May we were sitting in the very front seats of the coach next to the steps down. We knew where we were staying as we'd booked the holiday ourselves and had no worries, but you know what it's like - when the coach pulls up at a hotel everybody looks and makes a quick mental judgement of what it looks like; nice, very nice, ok, hmmm, and OMG, what a dump!

The coach pulled up at one place and it was one of those "OMG, what a dump" places. So much so that I couldn't resist, when the 'lucky' people got off the coach right next to me, saying "Good luck". Boy, if looks could kill!

In the 30 minutes or so from leaving the airport they had done nothing but annoy everybody as they were really loud and roudy and were basically riff-raff, so I spent the next 10 days making sure I didn't bump into them as I don't think they appreciated my friendly jibe!

HAHA i would have pmsl if i'd have been there, there's always an old woman who says "ooooo that's a nice hotel" at every single hotel on the transfer, even if it's a dump lol

We went to club cala romani in majorca in may and when we pulled up we thought OMG what have we done, not kidding it looked like a polish prison from the outside, really horrible, when we got in the complex it was a little bit of paradise though, a bit like wonka's chocalate factory in the sense that it's plain and morbid looking from the outside but inside it's wonderful.

I think it's more of a trend to go abroad in may now as it's by far the cheapest time of year to go abroad and it's just becoming warm and sunny on a regular basis, from my experience anyway.

Yeah we usually go away in May or September - price-wise it seems to be the best trade off between sun/heat and cost. I think you're right too - places seem to be so much busier now in May and September, but still quieter than the busy school holiday period.

My first preference is May though as you have a tan you can keep topped up through the summer (although not this year obviously!).

weather can be varied, night times are chilly, dont expect to go out in shorts in the evening, went last may, the bars even had small fires lit in barrels outside.

Only been once end of April until about 9 May - we were very lucky as late 20s and early 30s every day, sweltering to be honest.

But the following week it was quite a lot cooler and rainy - I have a habit of following the weather a week or two before we go and a week after to see how lucky/unlucky we are. That time of year can be a little hit and miss but that's the chance you take - again, it's the trade off between cost and weather risk.

Historically average temperature for that time of year is about 20/21 degrees, but this includes night time temperatures so it could be late 20s on average during the day and maybe 15 at night.

Check out average weather on google - when I did a comparison it came out about on a par with the Spanish islands (Malaga/Ibiza), but temps in the Canaries were a bit higher on average (about mid 20s beginning of May). We were in Tenerife in early May this year and it was early 30s most days and got hotter as time went on. But the following week temps dipped a bit with some rain, but mostly dry.

I'm a weather addict!

We were at Tuana Paek the same time as you..... Thoroughly enjoyed it... Self service booze from the fridges dotted around..Great belly dancer at the Amphitheatre, disco 'till 2am still free drinks.. Help youself to bottles of wine with your meals.... Listened to the Nightingale singing in the gardens at 3am... Brilliant holiday..... Probably saw you there LOL.

Marmaris is rather busier, but fun, if you like a lively resort.
