This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This holiday is aimed at the solo traveller or for two people, based on a 13 night holiday in Krabi Thailand in January (other dates available). The flights are with Qatar Airways including 30kg luggage and a short stop at Doha. There's also various cheap accommodation available, I have selected SiBoya Bungalows as an example, which scores 5/5 Tripadvisor. Works out at £561 if travelling solo or £992 (£496pp) for two people. Flights can be booked at various travel agents - link goes to Flight Scout comparison to show dates and availability for the different flights which can be booked from providers such as lastminute.com. Accommodation is booked separately at Booking.com. Weather temp is around 27 degrees in January and lowest rainfall of any month, so a nice time to go and get away from the winter weather here.

Return Flights London to Krabi with 30kg luggage £400 - £431 13th Jan to 27th Jan - other dates available (Qatar Airways)

Return flights from London Qatar Airways from £400 to £431 - sample date of the 13th Jan to 27th Jan, includes 30kg checked luggage. Other dates available. Flight has a short connection in Doha, have selected the £431 flight due to much shorter flight duration.

SiBoya Bungalows accommodation 13 nights via Booking.com £130

Lots of cheap accommodation in Krabi, but to give an example SiBoya bungalows is
£130 for 13 nights and gets excellent Tripadvisor reviews 5/5. SiBoya Bungalows guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. This accommodation is more suited for people wanting a quiet and peaceful escape.

Just came back from 6 days there (well Phuket) and let me tell you that 13 nights would be too long in this place!
January is a great time for a holiday, I love sitting on a beach when it's minus 10 at home
Good airline but you'd be mad to book with any of those shonky online travel agents.
Carlton is probably the best of that bad bunch.
Pay the extra and book directly with the airline if you want peace of mind.

Voted hot.
I've spent 4 weeks in ao nang ( krabi is the airport and town not the main tourist resort) over several years and it's a good base for sightseeing. Its cheaper than Phuket but the walkable beaches are not as good. There are however long tail boats to lots of islands and some amazing beaches. James bond island and phi phi easily done. It used to be dirt cheap but about £10 each now plus national park fees for long tail boats. Lots of restaurants and a nice enough atmosphere in the resort. On the flight deal not bad but you could go via Bangkok and then after a couple of days fly to krabi for about £30 each way.

We got a cracking deal looking at TUI's last minute deals on their app. We had booked time off and it was 2-3ish weeks away when we spotted flights to Mexico all inc for 5 nights £450pp inc luggage and transfers. No brainer. Parents went a couple of weeks after we got back as the TUI deal they were looking at for £800pp dropped to £650pp. Friends also took our advice and watched the app for 2 days before bagging a similarly priced trip to Mexico. Cant fault the flights hotel or TUI experience at all.

Seem to get better prices through lastminute.com

Is it trustworthy?

Absolutely. A well known brand. Plenty of those types of websites out there. Just saying, the TUI app for deals was pretty good April-June. Kayak is another that you can set a budget & dates and then it shows you where you could travel.
Google Flights + Trivago are all you need.
Don't pay over the odds to package holiday / tour companies.

Krabi/Trang area and all the islands around there are really nice, especially down in the Trang area. Where did you go to when getting out of Phuket airport? Even somewhere like Ko Phi Phi which is pretty easy to get to from the airport is nice.
Anyone who wants to go elsewhere there are other islands which are incredibly cheap to get to, talking about £20 I think to get a bus then ferry to koh Tao or koh Samui

Each to their own a suppose, if you don't mind moving about then it is better, been 3 times and left Phuket to the last 5 days or so of my holiday just to relax

Thanks OP

Been in Krabi few years ago. We travelled a bit around. There is plenty to see and do there. Ao Nang is nothing special but I can definitely recommend Phi Phi Island and Railay Beach (and Railay Great View Hotel there
http://www.railaygreatview.com).
We been moving a lot between hotels/accommodations and you can get really cheap places but from our experience it is worth paying a bit more as quite often whatever pictures were showing wasn’t exactly same, used Hotelscombined or Expedia to find and compare hotels.

2.3 holiday per.month otherwise i won't be paid will just be 2 weeks off.

If you tried to say something - finish your sentence.
For an example:
17 days - love it
or
17 days hold of breath, agreed about - 13 days is too much.

We've been going long haul in January for the last few years. Prices are generally cheaper and you get to escape the post Xmas gloom.

As in you only accrue holiday starting 1st Jan? That sounds very odd. I have always booked holidays Jan/Feb etc time ie outside all the main holidays without even checking knowing you won't clash with all the other people with kids taking their holiday in August.

Yes from 1st of Jan till 31 December 28 Holidays.
So in jan i will have 0 holidays to be paid.
Can't afford to go 2 weeks away spend money there and don't get any holiday pay:)

We did the same to Puerto Vallarta last year. Ended up in the premium cabin as no seats left together and we had the kids. Cracking holiday
Use latedeals.co.uk to search Tui Thomas cook etc all on the same site. There is usually a code for a further 25 / 50 off.
Last night I booked a week 5 star all inc in Turkey for next week with Thomas Cook Signature, should be 1800 each. Paid 2160 for the 4 of us. Also used our employee discount scheme (edenred) to get 6% off that and 4% TCB.
Holiday roulette we call it - means we can have a holiday every half term and its exciting not knowing where we'll end up. Thomas cook seem to upload their cancellations in the early hours

completely different place! I been to both and if you want to soak the culture in then Krabi Town is amazing. Phuket is just for partying mainly. depends on the holiday you want. I spent a week in Krabi and so much to do round there, white water rafting, hot springs quad biking through the forests~ Phi phi island I found close to what it's like in phuket but personally I didn't really like it, just a party island for the most part. I guess each to their own though

This sounds very unlikely.
It seems you are saying that you can't take annual leave until you've accrued enough days first.
So to take two weeks annual leave in a year, you need to have worked five months, and then you can take that leave? Hence a two week holiday can't happen until beginning of June or later?

That's because you went to Phuket.
Someone come with me
Phuket is nowhere near Krabi. And it sounds like Patong is more your thing.

Er, perhaps the hundreds of thousands who want to escape a cold winter for sun and heat. Isn't that obvious?
