The 64GB disk ones may not need upgrading but the trick with the 32GB ones is to add an m.2 ssd (e.g. 128GB for about £20) and boot from them instead.

Obviously, read the blurb for individual specifiction but the FIVETECH branded laptops I've seen have been in very good condition.

Normally not a fan of latops so cheap but with a quad core CPU, FHD screen (probably TN) and 64GB of storage, not bad at all for the £. Hot from me.
Link doesn’t work
Crazy good deal .. I can’t imagine you can have more for 99
Will this work fine with windows updates .. my friend had a 16tb little machine couldn’t update windows

Is 64gb ok for windows updates

Just need something for uni to take notes & carry around
These are geo book 3x machines sent back from currys.
The only worth buying is the n5000 but all have ips displays.

And 99 is not even cheap I paid 75 each for the n5000 ones

Should be ok - depends how many programs and data are added over time. If its just an office program and documents...should be ok.

last time when it was here I ordered one and while I was setting it up dammn machine was dead,,,,so I returned it and got my money back.......
I bought an 11" with the last 20% voucher for £59. Good nick when it arrived but the keyboard didn't work. Sent it back for a replacement and laptopoutlet screwed up and refunded instead then never got back to me after saying they were looking into it. Wasn't worth £79.99 so I left it and got a new Lenovo instead.
When and where?

Hmm I'm looking for £100 laptop.....
A decent price for a 64gb version, but personally I'd be adding the M.2 drives, if it's the same setup as the 32gb version that I bought and set up for a friend.
I bought an n5000 from these for about £80 also a few months ago, so price inflated immensely to compensate for the 'Discount'. Shouldn't be allowed...
Here's an alternative. New from Ebuyer but only a Celeron N3350; same principle applies - with only 32GB disk, these need an m.2 ssd to be useful. New price £108 including 20% off. Doubt the Celeron is that much slower...

All together had 3x FIVETECH laptops ( 11.6" models though ) and there were issues with every single one and I have paid extra for open box refurb variant. I actually liked the look&feel of them so kept trying but really would not expect the unit to last long even if received in fully working order.

That was my thinking in the end. I like the form factor (keyboard to edge of device), the very light weight and the screen res but they seem just too fragile and plagued with problems. If laptopoutlet can sell me a supposed "refurb" with a dodgy keyboard you have to wonder how long even a working one will last.

mine n4200 13 inch fivetech had a duff space bar works but only when pressed in the middle.
for a 100 quid its a bargain and screen is amazing for netflix youtube etc
With 20% discount ending tonight, I think this is the best FIVETECH left. Pentium N4200, "pristine refurbished", 32GD disk - best to add a m.2 ssd and 1 year warranty. £104

OR Coda Spirit NEW with Celeron N3350 £108 (again, this has an m.2 ssd slot)
