Perhaps it's because our boiler is on the blink but we had a sudden 3am epiphany to buy a new duvet cover, we only wanted a kingsize but can't say no to a superking at that price. No more fighting for the cover.

Les than Half price at £18.79 at the moment using code HWARES20 (thanks dazzer1975!)
They have superking duvet sets starting from £19.99 but they look a bit naff to be honest

144 reviews on argos website and 4 1/2 stars

A similar duvet was or sale at aldi 5 days ago that we missed at a higher price

HWARES20 code
where do I put the code?

At the checkout stage. You my need to click a box for the text box to appear where you can enter it
yer it took a few clicks through the checkout procedure before the voucher code box was shown, if it gets to the stage where you have inputted card details and ready to purchase you have gone too far
ok thanks I'll try again
Remember this duvet is duck feather and probably machine cut feathers so they will prod you all night. Best get a dearer one with a duck down mix and small cut feathers. You spend a third of your life in bed cheap will not be best

I would only buy ethical duck pillows where the feathers are naturally shed and not plucked from the bird. You can get ethical pillows from John Lewis.
Oos now but heat added

Check local stores, the Isle of Wight branch and Portsmouth still have some
hot
Nice
all down products regardless of grade lose feathers over time ime
Thanks, just bought one.......

These aren't ducks with jobs and holidays and pictures of the kids in their wallets. These are ducks bread for purpose. Plucked for feathers and eaten for food.
Id rather keep a man in a job to provide fir his family than a duck happy. There are no ethics in survival.
Since going 100% goose down there is no going back to feather

Thank you mr snatch master. I shall take that into consideration
Have some heat
Bought one of these when they were on sale a few weeks back. They are VERY heavy, rustle a lot and have sharp bits which poke you through the cover. They are also too hot for all but the very coldest nights.

Get a life.
Poor Donald!
If I'm buying a duvet, the first thing I ask myself is "hmmm, does this thing contain ethical feathers?"
I want to know if the ducks have been reared on the finest Cristal champagne and wild truffles infused with unicorn breath, I want my duvet to have waddled through puddles.... not muddy ones, but puddles filled with the tears of angels, above all, I would like a signed statement from the Dali Lama giving his blessing to me that I may sleep safe in the knowledge that my duvet has had an interesting and fulfilling life.

If I can't have that I would gladly freeze to death, rather than get a bargain from Argos (_;)

I'll vote this hot anyway, just to keep the peace.

Does it bother you that to get the feathers, they are plucked from the bird while it is still alive? And the wounds of the birds are stitched without anaesthetic? I am not on about birds being bred for meat and the feathers being a by product of that. I am talking about how they get the bird's feathers in China, which to many people is cruel. peta.org/fea…on/

Oh God, not another sanctimonious, self-righteous vegan trying to spoil everyone's Christmas spirit.

I bet you are a right laugh at parties.

No I'm not a vegan. I am not preaching either. I was just pointing out something about how the feathers are obtained that anyone might not know about. Just giving product information that's all. If that's something that doesn't bother you, then fair enough. It's a site for posting offers after all.

Ok, so you are a vegetarian then. Both vegans and vegetarians do love their sanctimony.

Why do you feel the need to voice your opinions if not to make yourself feel morally superior? No-one on here should have to listen to your sad attempts at self-righteousness.

I don't think that I am morally superior in any way. I am open-minded. I am actually not bothered what you think, because everyone has their own different views or no particular views on certain things. Do you shoot down anyone who points out anything?

Looks like you've started drinking the Christmas spirit already mate.

I doubt you'd be so arrogant if some bloke pulled your hair out of your scalp a chunk at a time.

FYI..... I'm sure a duck would be more fun at a party than you fella (_;)

Are you the same dude that was moaning about renewable Christmas trees being sold for £1? Lol
