What ground coffee would you recommend for a cafetiere? We only drink it over the weekend and in large bags it goes bad over a week or two.

Thank you.

Put beans in freezer to keep freshness.

Has anyone tried these?

Sorry just realised these are ground beans.

Apparently keeping any coffee (with the exception of the ice variety) is a big no-no

Very bad tasting coffee beans will never buy again. Even Aldi does good coffee beans.
Lovely coffee definitely recommend. Thanks 😁
I've found it difficult to get a good extraction with this, far harder than with Lavazza, taste is OK when it extracts properly though.

Makes Lavazza beans taste heavenly next to this muck
Very bitter , I didn't like it. Personal opinion.

Agreed however I have to say if you cannot afford better coffee then these are the best beans you can get at this price. It beats almost any ground coffee. You cannot find cheaper whole beans.

That being said, please spend a few more quid on it and get a better coffee.

Where does it say Arabica?

Just above this line.
I’ve never had the grounds (and I suggest you don’t either) but this isn’t a great coffee (it’s age doesn’t help), I use it for cold brew most of the time because it’s good value.

Just cancelled my subscribe and save on the whole bean of this coffee. Distinctly average and not nearly bold enough for a dark roast for my taste. I find the Aldi beans, strength 4 (Italian?) make a pretty decent strong brew, so I'll go back to those for a while.

Someone said it above, but I always keep my preground in the freezer!

Give Aldi's Ethiopian coffee a go. I think it's pretty incredible given the price (around £1.39 for a 227g I think)

I find it can occasionally be a tad on the chocolatey side, so I create a mix which is 3 parts that, with 1 part of Aldi Italian blend - I think it gives a nice balance.

That looks a different pack to me. Still can't see it on the original.

Solimo is a generic name for Amazon coffees. They do various qualities.

Not sure why you think it's a different pack. It says Arabica in the item description when you scroll down, not on the pack. Am I missing something?
