Might be Scotland only until we can get it checked, but all Williams Bros beers and ales at Aldi are being sold for £1.39 a pint bottle! Spotted in my local store:
Faroch Heather Ale
Birds and Bees Golden Ale
Cock O' The Walk red ale
7 Giraffes ale
Midnight Sun porter

If you've never had these before they are craft beers brewed in Alloa, Scotland, and are very high quality indeed, and are normally £1.99 a bottle in Asda/Tesco/Morrisons.

Their homepage is here: williamsbrosbrew.com/

Wish they had Caesar Augustus..that is delicious!

I've had Caesar Augustus out of Aldi previously for £1.39, so they do get it in from time to time. It seems that they rotate which varieties they stock.

Lovely beer btw, voted hot. Personal favourite is 7 Giraffes.

Just checked out 7 Giraffes on the website...sounds good, might have to invest in a few bottles!

They had a few bottles of Ceaser Augustus but I didn't mention it as the guy bought all that was left, so will depend when you visit. Personally wish they had Joker IPA, but again may depend on the store!

Tried Fraoch and 7 Giraffes and like them both. great price too.

moved to alloa approx 12 months ago, thought I'd try a local brew (wasn't expecting much tbh). 7 giraffes is v v good for an everyday beer, and you can't really go wrong with any from this brewery. buy the shelf, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely love March of the Penguins, it's one of the best stouts around in my opinion. If they have this get some!

One of my favourite brewers ever.

7 Giraffes, Caesar Augustus, Good Times, Cock O The Walk, Eighty Bob, Birds and the Bees, Joker IPA and Fraoch are all just superb beers. No chemicals = no hangover either

£1.39 is an excellent price.

Doubt this will be available in England, but I have a void in my beer cupboard that would be very nicely filled with Midnight Sun.

Also at sainsburys along with a few others including innes and gunn.

Check out their Historic Ales pack. The packaging is magnificent.

It's not often that I wished I lived in Scotland

Williams Bros beers are some of my favourites. Not to be found in English stores then?

Had their March Of The Penguins last Christmas from my local Tesco, so being able to get my hands on some more of their stuff would be great. Will check this out tomorrow.

fraoch absolutely worth a purchase, generally a very solid brewery

I love 7 giraffes - only discovered it 3 weeks ago too.

Anyone confirmed it in an England Aldi?

Matt

Gotta be better than Tennent's so heat!

Scotland only? Surely they wouldn't be hogging all the alcohol over there? You know you're Scottish when you complain to the water board that you found some water in your alcohol.

You are comparing a premium bunch of ales next to Tennents.

It's like comparing Xavi with Jordan Henderson

Hot, I posted it a while back but you've got more heat so good on you

They have Caesar Augustus periodically in Alloa. Also joker is 1.25 a bottle in Stirling sainsburys along with 1/3 off some other Williams beers.

Cheers!

He wasn't comparing the Tennents with the other beers. He stated, "Gotta be better than Tennents". That's not making a comparison, he's saying the beers are better than the Tennents...oO
