With the number of laptops there are all over the internet, The Amazon reviews are reason enough to run a mile, Ok, There not always the most reliable reviews, But no reason to take the risk.
And an IPS screen. Hot

That was the hottest deal so far, but my order was declined
I have this laptop and it’s superb! 👌
Does this have backlit keyboard? Its listed as Optional on Lenovo's site for this model
a) A handful of slightly unnerving Amazon reviews.
b) Has been £60 and £40 cheaper on Amazon in the past 2-3 months

Don't think so, got it from very and mine doesn't unless an option exists to turn it on.
I bought this laptop through Very a few weeks ago. Highly reccomended and great value for the price paid.
I bought two via very deal for 300 each a few weeks back. I was reinstalling a clean build of Windows last night on them, well impressed with quality for price, the screen is top notch.
I have this laptop and i put in a 16GB and an SSD in the spare SSD HD slot (the bigger SATAIII, not M.2) , and it's great. Folds back properly too. Wish it had a 15.6 screen though, like the HP I broke though. But this is great, and this is a good price for it.

What do you need 16GB for?
128GB will be fine but replacing the m.2 128GB with a bigger capacity drive is straightforward.

8GB is more than fine, unless you've specific needs for more than that.

I bought one via the VERY deal last month. Well pleased with it. Fresh, modern, quick laptop.

Good Q. Graphics RAM is shared, and it multitasks better. It did reduce battery life though by. Idk 10 or 20%. Actually that's a drawback of this machine: it's really is subpar for something you would expect to be portable and take places. I barely get a couple of hours out of it.

I must keep an eye on my memory usage but mine only gets light use relatively speaking so i'm not anticipating a big requirement.

The Ideapad 320 that mine replaces lasted 3 hours easily. Must see what this new one is doing.

I think you might get 3.30hrs from it with judicious use. Thinking about it, I do have too many Chrome tabs open. Might well reduce my battery by an hour....

Yeah i've 17 chrome tabs open here. Also in your power mode you can increase battery life by reducing performance. Screen brightness also plays a part.
