The Grand Cettia Hotel near Marmaris majors in family-friendly holidays – there are theatre shows, lots of activities and a pool scene with waterslides.

Children have lots to choose from here. There are cooking classes where they can create their own pizza, as well as a hotel-run kids’ club with daytime activities. A video games room means teens are catered for, too.

Adults, meanwhile, can relax in the British-themed Sherlock Holmes bar or opt for some me-time in the Turkish bath. Elsewhere, you’ve got three restaurants – including a buffet place – and a patisserie.

All inclusive

Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Selected local-brand alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Snacks at set times.

Scrolled down to see the usual hateful comments just because Turkey is seen as an islamic country. There are many religions with atrocities linked to them all. Take the good and leave the bad. People don't say "I'm scared to go to London it's the 2nd most dangerous city for knife attacks" or "I'm scared of Police brutality in America". So everyone keep your ignorant comments to yourself and enjoy the sun that's present in Turkey, because we all need some vitamin D.

Visas
From 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling for tourism or business purposes will no longer need a visa to enter Turkey for visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

If you’re travelling before 2 March you will still need a visa, except for some cruise ship passengers arriving at sea ports for visits of up to 72 hours

Tempted
Worked in marmaris for years and love it there, it will be quiet as the resort will still be in the process of opening, but at that price well worth it. Just down the road from Kervansaray restaurant, the best place to try some amazing Turkish delicacies 🏼
Good to hear about the Visas! I know it was only $20 before, but every saving helps. (Always annoyed me that my wife, who is French, never had to pay!)
Half decent hotel, food very repetitive, beer ok, local spirits about 30% rather than the 40% you get here. Have to get up early to get a sunbed, but might be okay at this time of the year. The hotel is about 20 minute walk away from the beach.

Went to Marmaris last year early May and stayed at a hotel on the beach but very few places were open, the beach looked awful, like they were replenishing the sand, with loads of exposed pipes and rocks where beach normally is. Still had a good holiday. So cheap to eat out too, kind of makes all inclusive a bit of a waste

Stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Rooms great, breakfast and lunch really tasty, dinner OK. Brilliant wee bar inside for when it cools down in the evening.

The visa is being replaced with a tourist tax like many other countries, based on the cost of the hotel stay

It has absolutely nothing to do with it being an Islamic country. Not at all.

It went up pretty late last year. I got mine on 31st August for trip in October and it was still $20, had to look twice after I had booked for May that it had went up to the $45, though now not needed Quick Google says it went up on 18th October to the $45.
Not that hot in April . Best go 2nd week in May
