Went in Feb 2 years ago and that was warm at night.
More windy than cold at night. A light cardigan is sometimes needed. Any time we've went mid March it's been around 20-24c during the day.
It's always cheap in the north

*better sun/beach holidays in the south

Tenerife is a great destination especially with a car if you're into hiking, our family go every year for our cheap holiday (we have one cheap one and one expensive one each year), we usually book with love holidays but this looks like a good price. Even if the weather is bad and peeing down just jump in the car and drive up mount teide area and you're well above the clouds with perfect sun.

Last year me, the wife and two kids (4 and 6) did the masca walk, if you've not done or heard of it and enjoy hiking (or exploring as we say to the kids) then check it out on youtube, it's up there with Yosemite and Yellowstone for us, and it finishes with a boat ride into town. Truly awesome.

Some advice, if you get the cable car up teide make sure you've booked your pass well in advance to walk the final few hundred metres, space is limited and without a pass you WILL NOT be going up. You can do the cable car but not the summit.

For us the best beach on tenerife is Las Teresitas, it's man made but always clean and great sand, oh, it's in the north!!!

Tenerife is a hole. The flight was a nightmare, full of scum. The place itself resembles Bolton in the 1990s.

...if you get the cable car up teide...

But if it's a windy day (as it often is), you can't use the cable car anyway for safety reasons. We've tried 3 times to go up and were only successful once. Amazing views if you're lucky enough to make it though and definitely worth the effort!
