Heat added - good value. They also do a router for £14.99 that looks a bargain.
Thanks OP orderd one. I was tempted when it was 29 quid but for this price I didn't hesitate
btw this is only for chopping fire wood. I would not use this for any detailed work. I imagine it can be adjusted but I doubt it would stay square for long!
Thanks op ,Ordered too for chopping fire wood
Voted hot.
I bought this mitre saw from B&Q although on the website it says 210mm, I can see on the box of what they gave me 120mm. Did they give me the wrong product?
And how does this mitre saw compare to the one in the link? I bought it for £40 and the box is still unopened. Thx

buying for sane reason. being lolling for something cheap and cheerful just for this
Good deal, been looking for something like this for some rough and ready woodwork.
You serious about chopping wood? Presumably you won't manage much more than a 100mm diameter log without faff? Would have thought a chainsaw was more appropriate!

Chopping firewood!?
Presumably you have to chop the wood to reasonable lengths so they stay on the deck of this thing... which means you have a chainsaw already?

Cutting long wobbly branches on a mire saw will be very interesting. I use my mire saw for some dodgy cuts but wouldn't particularly fancy that oO

Hot BTW - plenty good enough for many jobs and it'll save an eternity compared to cutting by hand.

Get a decent blade, adjust and learn the tool and it'll be good for many more tasks.
Use mine for fire wood, chopped with an axe first then to size, far better quicker the a chainsaw.

i doubt that very Much, as its a mitre saw you can saw a variety of wood, not exclusively fire wood.

As you mention your buying one (future tense) then you clearly don't have one and are unqualified to make such a silly comment

sorry I may have been unclear, I have bought it just to leave in the garage for chopping fire wood. I have had several saws, including argos pro ones, macallister ones, scheppach, Makita and now evolution. so I think im "qualified"

surely a picture of the correct number of fingers n thumbs would suffice! that's my benchmark of sawing competence

the fact you appear to have had more mitre saws than hot dinners would suggest more that you are particularly unqualified to operate one, either that or your really really good at losing large power tools?

either way you are unable to comment on this particular saws competence in cutting anything other than fire wood, at least till you own one and have tried it.

Your comment was very specific in warning people that it was 'only' good for firewood.
Looks good. Might order this and router. Cheers
got the router, jigsaw and drill combo for £30 last time it was on here and now this. A lot of tool for very little money.
damn you HUKD...thats a new tv and a saw within a week...i can use both in the shed i build when the wife kicks me out!!
How thick can the wood be to get cut by this machine?
Out of stock
Looks like Robocop's arm! (_;)
Will this cut through 2x4? All this talk about not being able to cut through firewood has got me worried.
**** out of stock! Great price as well.
mine arrived today. will have a look at it when i finish my shift thursday
Mine has arrived but the box looks like it has been opened and resealed so it might be a return. I will investigate.
