UPDATE:
Sold out on Ebuyer, but still available on Laptops Direct and Box.co.uk
Amazon also have it available but long delivery times.

Brilliant price for 144hz and 1440p, great price to go along with these GPU prices coming down. Freesync (G-SYNC for these specs is around double the cost!)
Amazon are selling it at just under £280. box.co.uk and laptops direct also have this price if you're not happy with using ebuyer (I personally have had no issues with ebuyer in the past). Was £250 a few weeks ago.

I've got this one and it's decent. Don't worry about the TN, looks nearly as good as my IPS. 1440p at 24" is super sharp!

Just out of curiousity, how much did you pay for it mate? Thinking of biting the bullet and going for this at this price, but I don't think my rig can fully utilise 1440p without a GPU upgrade (i5 6600k overclocekd + GTX 980), thinking of upgrading to a 1080 or ti once the new cards come out, hopefully pick one up cheap.

That's plenty of performance for 1440p. My previous 1440p setup was a 4690k + 970 and I had no issue running anything at 1440p. You can't run everything maxed out but you'll have plenty of performance for 1440p gaming. Any esport game you should be able to hit 144fps easy.

Hmmm good for PS Pro?
No need for 1440p at 24", 1080p looks fine at this size, but still a good price.
Amazon have price matched but with 2-4 week delivery

No, PS4 Pro is limited to 1080p OR 4K at 60 Hz only.
I was wondering about X1X - anyone know if this will do 1440p, 120Hz and FreeSync (with Spring Update)? I hear some monitors are only good for 1080p once you turn FreeSync on.

Don't know about freesync but can't see many games being able to utilise 144hz. It is a struggle to get 60fps a lot of the time.
Good price and good hardware. I'd suggest this size is a little small for 1440, however,
I have a 1080 at this size and wish I had the 1440 version. So this is likely a very nice upgrade for someone, I'm just holding out for a larger monitor (similar specs as this one listed) at a reasonable price as otherwise I'd of gone for this for sure. Thanks for sharing, have some heat!

Would this be good for rocket league does anyone know Please? Or would a cheaper monitor suffice? Thsnks
I believe the way freesync works is that it doesn't actually push 4K at 120mhz but instead does some AMD frame sync black magic which makes it look super smooth even though it's not pushing the full refresh rate (at 4K that is).

Too bad I just got an Nvidia video card instead.

I paid £260 in December. You'll probably be alright with that spec. Depends what games you play really
Well, I pulled the trigger. Hope it's good!

Great for rocket league as its quite an easy game to run. At 1440p 144hz it will look sharp and be super smooth and responsive to play.
Good price for a budget 1440 monitor and in particular for this model - but its a TN panel, so i'd stay clear if you want accurate colours and good viewing angles - but if you are only gaming head on then it will be fine.

A decent IPS version is at least £100 more, and it's certainly not worth the extra for everyone!
I bought this monitor Acer XG270HU only a few months back for £380. What does it offer over this monitor apart from 3". If there's nothing else I might try my luck and chase up a refund to get this instead.
