Not on until Sunday 13th !!

bought this a couple of mths ago and have only used for light work and the chuck has broken.
Thats probably why the warranty number is on the drill as well as the box.
it prob cost just as much to call them and sort it out as it would to buy another one.
would sugest save your money and buy something more expensive.

If you have your receipt with ALDI go back to store & they refund or replace

Stick to DeWalt or Makita. You get what you pay for in tools...

Not really a deal I bought one of these for this price nearly 3 years ago.
Mines still going strong but then I only use it for light drilling

Your rights, under the Sale of Goods Act, relate to the retailer, i.e. Aldi, and not any supplier warranty number printed anywhere.

If it is under 6 months old, just take it back to Aldi and ask for a replacement, or a refund. If they say you have to contact the number on the box for any complaints, just tell them that by law, they are responsible for dealing with the situation, and they cannot pass their responsibility on to the manufacturer. If people do not complain, and demand their rights under the Sale of Goods Act, shops will keep on selling shoddy goods, and getting away with it.

'Going strong after 3 years' complies as a deal for me.....

so this is a drill only then. .. spend more and get a combi drill. That will include speed and torque adjustable screw driver too folks...makes a lot of difference.

I have bought a number of power tools from ALDI over the years & they have compared favourably against branded ones ..... just how many branded items come with a 3 year warranty ??
