Great!

prime time for hurricane season to so a lovely opporunity!

My friend and I stayed in the Coco's (not this hotel) last May. It was beautiful and idyllic, BUT, if it's adventure you're looking for, forget it! Nobody lives in Cay Coco (not even the hotel staff) so there is nothing there apart form a few hotels, so there is NOTHING to do apart from what ever is going on at your hotel. The free courtesy bus will take you to a few different hotels where you can use their facilities but they're pretty much all the same. If you're happy lying on a beach or by the pool then this is great but if like me you like to wander around looking at things and going shopping for souvenirs then don't bother, there really is nothing. The nearest town is Moron and that takes and hour and a half on a bus. Havana is 7 hours by car and 1 1/2 by plane which is very expensive.Great price though, we paid £650 for a week in May.

In this current climate of uncertainty, £1.5k just for a holiday seems excessive. It's probably a good deal for 2 people.

if you look in most holiday brochures .. hotels in Cuba receive poor scores for the food - no idea why their food would be worse than other Caribbean islands

Never had a bad meal in Cuba, this will be our 4th visit to Cuba...There are a lack of various items as an Embargo by USA still stands..And as for what a previous poster said about shopping, I don't really go on holiday to go shopping to be honest, got better things to do like sip a cocktail lying in the SUN..You know that thing we dont get much of in UK..so I think I'll stick to shopping in the rain in the UK...

This is a lovely hotel stayed here few years back and had a great time. Staff are so friendly and great at their jobs. If i didnt have a little one would def go on this deal but dont fancy the flight with a 2 year old. As for hurricane season it rains for 10 mins then everything dry again in 10 more minutes!!

This hotel is dreadful, I have been to this very one, the service is poor, food is disgusting and there is very little to do other then sit with lager louts all day listening to Sean Paul. If thats your thing then great...

i was in cuba 2008 beginning of sept for our wedding and got caught in hurricane ike 7th sept 2008, we were booked for this hotel but it was getting renovated at the time so got moved to the hotel next door the hotels are gorgeous but wouldnt recommend going this time of year as we had to cut our holiday short as we were caught right in the middle of the hurricane and had to get evacuated it was very scary, so no i wouldnt say it was fine at this time of year

This is Benidorm but in Cuba, also get a grip.

Actually I've been looking at Cuba myself, but this deal is the average price on a lot of the popular holiday booking websites. I've even had this down to £697 for two weeks at the same time.. I'm sure these websites change their prices like the wind..

I went to Cayo Coco Cuba in Oct 2009 and to be honest the first few days were lovely. The beach spotless...and then came a hurricane...high winds. And the beach turned into something from a horror film. Seaweed and debris everywhere; it stank and the wooden huts n shelters were strewn all over and hazardous. I took pictures on day one and two and the pictures after were horrendous. They had a man on a tractor trying to clea it...but it was the same for the whole two weeks. The watersports were not available due to weather conditions etc.

If you like the beach...I would seriously consider not going cayo coco in October.

I Paid approx £750 each then so was a good deal so did not complain. But I have to admit it spoilt my holiday a tad :-(

Just to add it is now £192 cheaper than the price I advertised it at so even more of a bargain!!!
