15 Months AutoAid Breakdown Recovery For The Price Of 12 £48.31 @ Auto aid

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I just remembered my Autoaid was about to expire but by the time I looked it had already expired. To renew it would of cost me £43.31 but as it had expired they wanted £48.31 so I thought I'd go hunting around for a discount voucher. Unfortunately the codes and offers for £33 have expired (now £39 via Groupon) but this is just as good.

Anyway TheMoneySavingExpert has a offer to get 15 months for the price of 12 which basically means you get 12 Months for £32 (3 months at £48 for 12 is £32)

From the website:

15 Months Cover for only £48.31! U.K-wide Car Breakdown and Recovery Service that covers you as an individual, whatever car you are legally driving!*

Offer Expires 31/10/2018. This offer applies to new customers only.

No I was allowed to use this offer because my cover had expired (hence why it states 'This offer applies to new customers only' at the bottom)

I have had reason to call on them when I've been a passenger in friends' heaps and have received good service. This service also includes a number of items at no additional charge where some other organisations expect additional payment to attend, such as lost keys, vandalism & accident recovery, no fuel, etc
I am quite attracted to this deal as I have a car over 10 years old but on looking at AutoAid's website,it appears to me that breakdown cover may only be applicable if you are more than i mile from home. It really would be a good deal if homestart were included in it. Can someone confirm please whether home start is or isn't included.

I'm with Autoaid had them out to home twice in last few months car is 17yrs old..no problems, only thing I find is they seem more of a recovery company than roadside assistance - the few times I've used them they have been out really quickly but first question has been where am i recovering you too
Why cold?!? This is a good deal and Moneysavingexpert's top choice!

Personally, I needed new cover and gone with this - thanks OP!

That's HUKD for you, as people just click cold on deals if It's not cheap enough, or they do not want or need it (rather than if It's a deal)
Also people tend to vote positive on a deal if it is dirt cheap or/and was something they want or would like (even if it means their chance of getting one is virtually 0)

Anyway as long as a few people get this deal it was still worth posting
Autoaid are great. I've been with them for ages and on the two occasions that I've had to call them out they have been excellent.
I gave you a positive to get you of the cold negative moron scoring. Autoaid one of the better breakdown recovery services, been with them for years....good deal OP, I started with them on a similar deal to this.

Written T&C indicates included: "...If the vehicle breaks down at your home or within one mile of your home, we will only pay up to £65 in total for either: call-out fees and labour charges needed to start the vehicle; or costs involved in taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage..."
So they do not have their own fleet they source out calls to local recovery trucks
They will not try too hard to fix your car
But I used them 6 times in a year on my previous vehicle for various things and never had an issue
I concur, they have saved my bacon a few times, even in the bad snow we had, a million years ago.
I am a nember and your link appeared to accept my purchase for 15mths, starting at a later date, thanks op
Great deal, gutted though as my cover had expired & only took out cover yesterday.
Heat
Rather buy 12 months for £39 from groupon than 15 months for £48.31.
Shorter contract.

Apart from the contract for Autoaid to provide a service I don't know what you mean?

I am trying to do the same as I am already a member. Did you use a different email/credit card or everything was same?
Exclusions include:

' Any request for service if the vehicle is off-road or

cannot be reached due to snow, mud, sand or flood.'

Not falling for a breakdown company that his this clause ever again
Can me and my son been covered on one policy?
can you pay monthly with these
Used them a couple of times and been a member for years. No complaints. Change the account between my wife and I to keep the deals going.... :-)
Had them for a couple of years, not used them in the last year but before that used them twice and cannot fault them
Really good company - had them out twice on 2 different cars I drive - they do provide roadside assistance - I had a flat battery in one car - the 2nd time I had a fault on my car and it was towed to a garage of my choice - recommend
Joined once. Called out once. Didn't have equipment to tow me. We used a makeshift rope!
Im a member and membership includes my wife in her vehicles. They also cover me when im towing the caravan at no extra cost. No brainer.
I've been with them 1 year and used them twice.both times excellent service
Does anyone know of good value European cover? It's not included with this one

Sounds like good service, although probably gesture of goodwill as 2nd related journey excluded in t&c.
Thanx ...just bought this deal ...a great find
Thx op
Purchased a years premium breakdown cover from Emergency Assist and added the £7.50 extra to protect my daughter's boyfriend's insurance excess for a year.
They were driving to a wedding up in Newcastle this weekend and he only passed his test 3 months ago so was a bit nervous.
Came in at £45 but Topcashback tracked and since been confirmed so £24 for a year including the excess insurance cover which for a new driver ain't a bad idea.
I know Trustpilot reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt but EA scored great from 779 reviews against AutoAid's average from 46 reviews.
And his car is over 10 years old, home start, no excess etc.
Thought it was a good deal

They might be cheap and they are cheap for a reason.. my brother had to use them last year and was left waiting 3 hours on the hard shoulder of the m1 before they turned up. It was a bank holiday tho so probably exceptionally busy but it did take a call from the highway officer to bring them out!!

I would not buy if home help was not included. Also current polixy with rac has everything listed here.
Good price for personal coverage. But if you want coverage for just one car then rescuemycar is £20 for the year. National coverage, at home. It was £20 Quidco a couple of weeks ago, so may be worth keeping an eye on cashback sites.
Perfect timing, just had my AA renewal through, £258 for effectively the same cover. Certainly won't be renewing with the AA.
Hello. Can you use this recovery for different cars if i would have another car in 15 months period? Also is it affects anything like future insurance costs ?
