Just had my AA renewal letter for £49 and I thought I would try to find a cheaper alternative. After TCB this works out at roughly £1.30 a month. Bargain !

You can also get 15 months of the full works (includes home start, emergency travel etc) for £66

Less than half price of the AA for me plus 15 months cover instead of 12 and they get good reviews

Same here and at best it take around 6-8 month for me.

Took out travel insurance once with AA and it took nearly a year to get the cashback - never again. Thieves.

Not for everyone but ADAC is Europewide and covers up to 7.5 tonnes. Their agents in UK happen to be AA who wouldn't cover over 3.5 tonnes themselves hahaa.

This is only basic roadside cover though.... no recovery. And if you need to be towed to the nearest garage you just know they will have you over a barrel and will charge you extortionately for repairs.

Personally I think Autoaid is the best breakdown deal out there for £39.... if you don't mind paying upfront and claiming back.

Fair enough but in most cases they get you going at the roadside.
The full works is only £66 (roughly £54 after TCB) which is a cheap alternative to Autoaid and you don't ave the worry or hassle of paying up front or claiming it back.
Suppose it depends what you want. I just wanted a cheaper alternative to the AA and this seems fine for me

£39 Autoaid is the full works. Roadside, recovery and homestart. Its also for personal cover in any vehicle, it also covers your spouse in any vehicle as well at no extra charge.
Plus they will recover your vehicle to anywhere you want in the event of an accident..... most breakdown companies wont do this.

Been with them for over 20 years , good company.

Great service from this company when we had to use them when broken down. Sent local friendly contractors quickly.

Yes the AA is terrible with rebates & refunds. They cancelled my insurance after I changed to a car they wouldn't cover. Took almost 6 months to get a refund on my unused cover and they only refunded 25% of my Premium even though I had almost 9 months of cancelled cover.

Haven't dealt with them again for insurance or car recovery & never will again.

watch ADAC Cucking Funts pulled my cover because I called them out twice in a year. pulled my cover for both me and the wife. beware also everthing is in German.but take your pounds easily though.

Who are ADAC?

This price assumes no breakdowns in the last year. Otherwise price goes up to £32 (or £88 for top cover).
I use Quoteline Direct's full cover service for £59 (- £5 TCB/Quidco)
