Might have been one seen before, but with Gears 5 and Age of Empires 2 Beta coming on to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate thought it might be worth posting again. The Ultimate pass covers both Xbox and PC titles and details can be found here: xbox.com/en-…ass

New customers can currently get a 2 month trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for £2 (usually £10.99 a month). However, when you redeem the offer you will actually get any subscription time you have for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass you've already paid for also upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate.

Therefore, if you purchase a Live subscription before redeeming the Game Pass Ultimate trial you can get yourself 15 months for less than £40. (This deal can actually be stacked for up to 36 months, if you can afford the upfront cost and want to make a big saving).

Couple of steps to this one:

1. Purchase a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership - CD Keys currently the best price for an EU key I found @ £37.99 (if you want the 36 months, then buy 3!)
cdkeys.com/xbo…key

2. Redeem the key(s) on your Xbox/Microsoft account - on the confirmation screen accept automatic re-billing as this gives you an extra month on Live membership.
redeem.microsoft.com/

3. Once the Xbox Live membership is confirmed, go to microsoft.com/en-…tab and select the £2 for 2 months offer, and login.

You'll then get the following screen appear:

3293220.jpg
Click Continue and complete payment.

This will add a further 2 months onto the 12 month subscription + 1 month bonus for auto-billing you've just added - upgrading you to a total of 15 months of Game Pass Ultimate for less than £40!

(NB: if you are stacking 3 x 12 months Live keys to get the full 36 months, then you will not get the bonus month for accepting auto-billing. You should also use the £1 for 1 month trial option, because again you won't get the benefit of the 2 months as the limit to this is 36 months).

After the 15 month period is over the automatic £10.99/month price will kick in, so cancel before then if you'd prefer!

Hope everyone enjoys

Would make this a day too soon then ? Think we can let that go

Well I've swapped it over to the CDKeys link as I think that's the majority part of the offer.
If you have any Microsoft points get as much Live as you can (up to 3 years) through Rewards free before using the £2 deal.
Game pass is such incredible value.
This deal would be cheaper for the Live at £34.15 don’t know if the discount code still works to make it even cheaper.

And I'd have to agree with them
Misleading title - should be made clear it’s for the 1% of Xbox owners who don’t already have game pass

agreed, great game though
So it's not actually £40 for 15 months, it's pay ~£120 then £2 so it's actually about £122 for us new customers to actually get the benefit of having this gamepass

Very misleading tbh thought it was that glitch where you kept buying it again to get 26 months for £36 lol
And remember, for that £40, you can make that back with ease doing the MS rewards programe on the xbox, basically claiming a £5 monthly stipend for playing a few specific games once a week for 10 mins to get a achievement.....MS are basically giving you your money back plus intrest in 12 months time for nothing more than getting achivements. lol
So if I already have game pass ultimate, I can't use this?

I think I've got ultimate can I cancel and then do this?

Think im part of the 1% who hasn't signed up to gamepass yet! will try this when I'm home, thanks.
I'm another who had not used game pass yet, might try it
I somehow messed up following these totally straight forward steps and only got 5 months for £40. Oh well!

You can always create a 2nd account.

I don't really use my xbox usually stick to Ps4 but plugged it in to have a go at gears 5 and saw this offer so I thiught for £2 what's the harm and tbh its a damn good service wish I'd known about this before activating the 2 months though.
I'm not sure a 2nd account is the best idea - both subs would run in parallel - so youve wasted the 2nd

How ? Did you apply the 12 month Live and then do the £2 offer ?
Will this still work if I buy 12 months from game or tesco etc? Sorry to sound stupid it's just the email linked to my xbox account is so old i cannot remember password.
I have used gamepass, but never gamepass ultimate. Am i eligible?
Shouldn't the community update read "for new Game Pass Ultimate customers".

Yes I believe so. If you haven't yet converted your Gold/Game Pass subscriptions to Ultimate you can do this, and get another 2 months of Ultimate for £2.
I already redeemed the 2 month for £2, i'm assuming this won't work.

Sounds like you may have already been subscribed to Ultimate?

If you are subscribed to Ultimate and redeem a code for Gold (or plain old Game Pass) it converts at a ratio of roughly 3:2.

Correction. The offer of converting for £2 is only for people who haven't yet tried Game Pass Ultimate. Existing Game Pass subscriptions can be converted.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to get two of these:
domsdailydeals.com/shop/xbox-game-pass-ultimate-6-month-membership-xbox-one-win-10-pc/
At 18.99 each (18.99x2=37.98 )
Turn off auto renew - redeem one, u should get offered 1 month free with auto renew on.
Then off auto renew again - redeem the other and then you’ll get offered the 1 month free again. (Can then turn off auto renew again).
So that works out as 14 months for 37.98 (not including the 2 months for £2 = £39.98 for 16 months?)
Applies to existing customers as I’ve just done it with 2 (I didn’t have the £2 deal as I’m an active subscriber from previous game pass/live/insider deals)

I did use them before I found out how dodgy they were. They specialise in cross-market sales, they hide where they obtain keys from, they're Dubai based and don't pay into UK tax, they don't pay devs/publishers the correct amount for their works...
