As above , think it’s a cracking which is around £65 pppn . Your main meal in the MDR is worth that each night ! First 3 days will be cold then it will start to warm up , your last 10 days will be really sunny weather .
This price is on a saver rate and a inside cabin. The ship is Azura which is pretty big and we loved our last cruise on her .

I was going to vote cold for the first 3 days then starting to warm up. Then hot for the rest of the duration!

Good deal with flights included

Can't be doing so many days without land
do fancy a cruise everyone says there are really good. trouble is i need to do a summer holiday one for the children.
I cant find it coming up at that price. Not even letting me go any futher with booking after I choose a cabin.
At only £10 more for the Select Price that’s well worth it as you get to choose a specific cabin and get £50pp onboard credit plus can choose your dining preference I.e. early, late or flexible.

We’ve done a few P&O cruises including a transatlantic. We like the sea days as you can totally relax. As you only need one flight to come back, you park your car at the return airport and they provide a coach to get you from the airport to Southampton to join the ship. Transatlantics tend to have few kids onboard and sometimes a slightly older clientele. Be aware that tips are £6 per day per person so £164 per couple. Less expensive that the US lines but you need to factor it in.

This year I saw P&O transatlantics as low as £799 including the one way flight so whilst this is a good price to get into cruising it’s not a real cheapie deal. Plus it’s cheaper through some cruise agents by about £35 pp but you can get Topcashback if you want to book with P&O direct.

We’ve moved on from P&O now and prefer Celebrity. We are on a 12 night Celebrity Cruise round the Med in Sep 18 which cost us £1200pp for a balcony cabin and all inclusive drinks included. We like the mix of nationalities on Celebrity whereas P&O are wholly British....passengers, entertainment and food. That price has rocketed since booking.

It’s the way their site is structured. You will see the price in the table of Saver/Select prices and then you go on to choose your options but the initial price is what you will get after you’ve completed all the booking steps,

Booked it thank you
We do the transatlantic this March , we fly to Barbados and come back to Southampton. 14 nights on the huge Britannia ( there newest ship ) . Got that for £950 pp .
Some amazing deals coming from P&O . The food on P&O cruises is top notch . We loved our last Caribbean cruise with them . And drinks are well priced too .
Is this for adults only I keep getting a strange error message? I have tried all four of us in one cabin 1 adult and 1 child each in two cabins?? Thank you

That’s the direction we have done. We also did Britannia 2 weeks after launch. A very modern, classy ship with the best buffet on any P&O ship and a lovely adults only pool area. Let down a bit by a small theatre and show lounge meaning you have to be there very early. Love the Sindhu restaurant which is great value.

No you can remove them and tip as you go or not at all .
Not fair to not tip as the staff rely heavily on to too make up their wages. I have always received excellent service on P&O

We do tip , we take auto gratuity off as these dodgy companies don’t give the staff all the money they receive. And we tip as we go so we know the staff get the money .

The auto tips are split across more than just a handful of staff you interact with. Some behindthe scenes get a share of the tips too. Also if you tip in the main dining room what about all those staff in the buffet? Much easier and fairer to leave the auto tips on.

Didn’t you see the program panorama 2 years ago ? It had lots of companies get investigated one was P&O(Carnival) . It was about Auto gratuity on cruise ships and restaurants. And Carnival only hand back around 55% of the cash to staff and say 45% is for administration. So there is no chance I will leave it on anymore. But if you want to that’s your choice .

Good shout.. I will keep this in mind next time I book a cruise.

We kept automatic gratuities last cruise (Celebrity) and only ended up using the main dining room on a couple of occasions. Noticed many getting more favorable treatment on board (at bars and other areas) as I imagine they were tipping directly.
We removed the auto gratuities on Royal Caribbean last year and tipped manually. Royal Caribbean have a full breakdown of gratuities in the paperwork you receive in the room which shows only around 5 or 6 areas of staffing receive these gratuities. The auto charge was $13.50 per day per person..... even for a 3 year old child. Personally, I don't like being told how much and who I have to tip. I'll do as I see fit.
