Discount code "newsu", which only seems to work on the desktop site is currently knocking 15% off all Garmin, fitness watches - clause in the code suggests it shouldn't work but does. Note: I haven't checked on other manufacturers.

I've ordered a Fenix 3 Sapphire HR for £331 - cheapest it's ever been.

This deal won't be for everyone but lots of discount to be had!

Works on Fenix 3, 735XT, 235 etc etc

Good watch for the money - slightly old now but each to their own! 235 is £186 which is quite cheap - much newer too...depends if the optical HR is your thing or not..

I've got an old Forerunner 210 which has done the job well for many years so anything newer that that is a bonus to me! I dont' actually need much more functionality that that tbh...I'll look at the 235 anyway thanks as it's my birthday in 2 weeks!! :-)

One of my friends has one and he rates it - google dcrainmakers review of it - he is a great reviewer. Only caution would be the code shouldn't work on the garmin (according to the text) so Blacks may pull this code!
I have a 235 and am very happy with it. Initial battery drain problems have been sorted with firmware updates and it's a good solid performer now. I'd only consider changing it for a Fenix 3 or 5
Had a 230 for a year now, great watch, the heart rate bundle is the best price, £144.50 , sell for strap for £20-30 ;-)

Ordered one for a mate, he couldnt get the code to work, but worked fine for me.

As mentioned it won't work on the mobile site for some reason but it definitely works on the main site - My Fenix 3 has just been delivered
Have a 3 .. the 5 upgrade is tempting

Actually the 230 and 235 came out at exactly the same time. Only real difference is that the 235 has the wrist based HR optical sensor. Both are very good watches. I prefer the 235 because I don't need to a strap but the HR sensor isn't as accurate.

the code won't last forever...you could always buy it, use it, then either sell that or sell your 3?
Fenix 5 looks very nice!

£425 is quite a lot of cash (for me) to spend on something I don't really need at the moment unfortunately.

The fenix 5 is still new and not cheap, im sure it will drop to £400 in a few months. Then when the codes come :-)
Gone for the 5 myself, can't wait! Due for delivery tomorrow
Worth keeping in mind that the Garmin 935 is about to be released - it is a Fenix 5 with a plastic body instead of metal. No other significant differences - and it's a lot cheaper (if you're a platinum member on Wiggle it's less than the discounted Fenix 5 above.) Only the 5X features are missing - everything else is identical.
DC Rainmaker is the go-to for this stuff.

My apologies, you are correct. Think i was getting confused with the 220!
Great deal, thanks for sharing. So tempted to bite, but think I need more than a watch to help motivate me
Got a 235 and a Fenix 3 sapphire. Both very good. Can be a bit glitchy but if you're ok with tech then you'll be fine. Had the 235 a couple of yrs. the Fenix I've had around 6 months. Excellent watch. Bit heavy so a plastic version would be even better. Would recommend any of these watches.

it worked on GARMIN Oregon 650 GPS Discoverer™ Bundle (with GB 1:50K Map)
£268 looks awesome price for unit + Maps
Great deal. I'm looking at the Fenix at the moment but can't decide between going for the 5 or the 3 HR. This deal makes the 5 seem a lot more affordable(ish).

230/235 came out about October-November 2015 , 240/245 should be out about October 2017 , makes you wonder what they will be like.

It knocks off quite a lot - not convinced it will drop anytime soon either. I opted for the fenix 3 sapphire HR as I wanted the sapphire display with it being a daily watch - it's a shame the 5 doesn't only exist in sapphire form!

Thanks for deal, i used it, and that all what matters. You helped somebody and its great.
Cold votes coming from people who don't rely use this gear and don't understand what it is running or hiking.
Next time put up deal for 60" TV for £399 and it will get super heat, even if TV is rubbish.

Thanks for the feedback - it's frustrating sometimes as if there is something genuinely wrong with the link or similar I'd like to know so I can fix it!
This deal is great, and I definitely appreciate it! I'm holding out for sapphire 5 or 5x with a metal band and although tempted for something here don't want to regret not buying what I'd intended. So temptation is there and the comments helpful. Thanks op.

2015-2016-2017 (couple of years to me). Your right. 21/10/15 to be exact for the 235. How time flies! All good watches. Happy now with the Fenix but a plastic version I reckon would be ace. Mrs flity7 has the 235 now. Both used daily. Garmin connect app is a bit temperamental but new users will soon get to know it well. Lookin forward to seeing the new watches in the flesh
Just got dispatch email from Blacks with tracking Nr
Very good as usually this sort of glitches getting canceled, just remember Sainsburys
Cheers for this. Just ordered a Fenix 5.

Don't know if I'll keep it though, would rather have the Forerunner 935 to be honest but they don't have any yet.
Got my 5 today. You won't be disappointed!
Thank you op! Finally bit the bullet and went for the 235. Been wanting to upgrade my forerunner 10 for a long time now. 7 weeks to go till my first marathon and when I saw your post I thought it was time treat myself. Many thanks.

Not sure if anyone managed to get one of those, think there was a lack of stock. This is the best current deal.
