Even with 15% off its still cheaper for me to order via Foodhub,
No 50p surcharge, delivery is £1 cheaper, automatic 10% off,
and their menu system allows you to choose specific salad options for burgers & kebabs, not just 'salad or no salad' like JE
also they dont take ~17% comission off the takeaways like JE does!

Depends on what you want i guess, i'm all for saving money so if your restaurant is on there and the same discoounts, that's a good shout

Just had a quick look at my local area - 3 on FoodHub & 43 on Just-Eat

It'll be good to give JE some competition (hopefully!)

I ordered last year on JustEat and got food poisoning. Upon further checking of the restaurant in question I found it had a rating of 1 out of 5 which is the worst possible rating.

Secondly bear in mind all these restaurants pay commission to JustEat and you can pay the same price if you order directly from the restaurant and the restaurant to keep more of the money.

Bon Appetite!

I've noticed one or two takeaways moving away from Just Eat and only on FoodHub now. Hopefully FoodHub don't make the same mistake as Just Eat or even sell up.

Starve?

Yes, exactly. They need to make 15% discount standard or just lower the prices. Also bring back 20% Quidco! I've had enough of these measly crumbs being occasionally sprinkled from above.
That's Game of Thrones fuel sorted for Sunday night, thanks OP

I don't have alot of choice is n foodhub currently but my favorite chippy is on it. 15% off £15, no 50p charge is great. They even do exclusive deals for food hub.. 16 inch pizza, 2 bags of chips, 2L bottle of juice for £9.50!!

Honestly I'd not heard of it before this, and I work in IT. Clearly my takeout game needs upping.

I order from a local that does 30% off a £20 spend so these double up and make it super cheap. Not the best place to order but beats making the wife cook always a £9.50 saving per order.

I agree food hub is far better now and restaurants prefer it due to getting paid faster .Still a deal though with 15% off as my fav curry house uses food hub and just eat so this is cheaper so hot from me.

A new take away near me has 10-20% each weekend now so add this on top and its a bargain!

That's fair enough in your situation but if the preferred restaurant isn't on food hub it doesn't really help. I don't really care what commission they take because my discount comes from their commission and without 15% off then the restaurant get 100% of £0 as I don't order without one

If my restaurant of choice was cheaper I would use direct but they aren't which is the real problem for me. They certainly don't offer 15% off any spend.

Yes - one of my favorite Indians do 20% off £25 spend so try to order direct from them most of the time now although they are also on Just Eat and offer 10% off so that combined with the 15% and Quidco may tempt me more.

Here here.
When I ordered Pizzas from the usual last time through Just Eat done the 15% off thing they gave so little meat and that stuff on Pizza than they normally do
Random question: When Just Eat offer promotions, who takes the hit? the takeaway or Just Eat the company?

I use the discounts codes every week through the Reward Me Now app and always feel bad thinking it's the takeaway, but surely it's Just Eat... I guess they can't force promotions on takeaways? or maybe they share the amount (in this case, take 7.5% each cut)

I understand they take a minimum of 14%.

Does anyone know?

In some cases it's more expensive on just eat, even outside of the fees.. the actual individually priced items are more expensive... it's understandable as you're paying for convenience.. also, lots of pizza shops offer like free garlic bread or bottle of drink for orders over X amount, they do not offer the same offer through just eat.

The restaurant gets paid exactly the same money, Just-Eat are the ones taking the loss. So that has nothing to do with the voucher.
I've got a choice of 3 on JE and 1 on FH. The one on FH is 2 pounds delivery and a minimum order of 15 pounds so a more expensive delivery charge than JE. Think i need to move for more options!

Technically Just Eat takes the hit, but it’s the TA that suffers in the long run, as it’s the TA that does all the hard work with costs associated with it (staff wages, stock, utilities, rent, VAT etc).
Just Eat just collects commission (up to 20%) & service charge from every order made through them.
Good deal especially if you have a craving of pizza with mayo, chicken burgers ah yummy yum 😋
Good offer this especially if you have a craving of pizza with mayo dips and chicken burgers an onion rings on the side with 1.5 coke bottle
Nice
When they do deals like this it’s no good for me as they are mostly weekend deals and I work weekends so can never take the offer up and on their ad on the telly they even say “it’s gonna be a busy Wednesday evening” which is really annoying cause that’s when I want to order but the deals are never on then
Always cheaper to phone around here.

FoodHub is part of Touch2Success which sell complete POS systems to restaurants. They make their money from those systems which is why they're able to list the restaurants on their FoodHub portal at zero commission, it's a freebie included with the POS.
Great, brings it down to the same price you would pay if you just called up your takeaway.

For those that don't understand, lots of takeaways put their prices UP on JustEat to account for the commission and profit loss.

Actually a 1 isn't the worst rating as you can obtain a 0 but this is solid advice
My local offer 10% off directly ordering via their website, lower delivery fee means it's on par and they get more to boot. Quite rightly leaving just eat in the next couple of months. Think it's peaked personally
Lent has come to an end...perfect timing
