These sites are meant to be illegal now. At least in the UK anyway (seems this site would get away with it as based in Gibraltar). Shall I buy P3 N15?

i was going to get B3EFN or B4WS X with the slogan @ the bottom saying ARNOLD CLARK SUCKS! now thats worth £14.43 alone!

..illegal & expensive

You'll probably get away with them if they are the correct reg, correctly spaced, correct font, correct size, and correct type of reflective material.

i have used this site even if you did want to get legal plates its still cheaper than wherever you would get them outside

as these are "show plates" does the law not apply unless the driver uses them on public roads ?

I don't understand why people are voting cold?

Hint is in the website name "show plates"! So I'm unsure why people are voting this deal cold on the basis that they are illegal?

Edit: Voted hot from me!

They can do legal plates too.

Used them several times - good price - good service.

Yes.. and if travelling between shows or from home to a show site (or vice versa) you can often forget to remove the "illegal" plate. Always have a legal one handy inside the car to show the Officer who stops you.

BFN,

fp.

Most companies dont offer `show plates` anymore as its illegal to use them on roads, but also companys in the uk selling `show plates` face big fines etc etc. there was a big clamp down on these.

I have used these a few times for legal plates and had nothing but lightening fast service!

Can't remember what the details are exactly but AIUI even if they are the right size, right font, right background etc then they are still illegal unless they are supplied by a registered supplier and have the name, contact details and postcode of the supplier on them. But I don't think the law applies in Scotland, so I can't see the police pursuing a prosecution if the plates complied with the law in all other respects.

Yet another silly law that inconveniences the law abiding but has no effect on wrongdoers.

The law now applies in Scotland.

There was a big clamp down a few years ago when people needed all sorts of documents to get any kind of plates, but it ****** everyone off enough that they relaxed the regulations. It also didn't stop anyone getting illegal plates as there is always somewhere that will do them. Regardless there is nothing illegal about supplying a bit of plastic to people and no reason why places cannot sell showplates quite happily.

And having the contact details of the supplier is nothing to do with punishing the user of the plates, it was for the dvla to use to keep track of suppliers. You can buy numbers and backing to make your own plate if you wish, as long as it's right it's not illegal.

Didn't expect this one to be cold! Can people explain? Last time I bought some plates online they were near to double the price of what I've posted! Also, for people talking about the legality of the product...

Firstly I'm pretty sure this website is regarding the price first!? Also, as others have said, legal plates can be bought from there too.

EDIT: Have also just noticed, going by the voucher it automatically attached... that was for 10% and reached a heat of 19°, yet mine is an extra 5% off but reaches -2° wtf lol.
