15% off Bosch Silver Car Battery @ Euro Car Parts
I was searching for a decent replacement battery for my Scooby and came across this bargain. These batteries are well regarded and come with 4 year guarantee. They sell for £69.99 upwards at most places and with the code Bonanza15 you can pick this up for £57.01 delivered.

Obviously not everyone has a scooby so best to have a look at the other offers as the following apply today

£50+ spend 15% off
£100+ spend 20% off
£200+ spend 25% off

yup mine was £15 cheaper

Great saving battery for peugeot 107 was £69 on carbatteriesonline.co.uk ...just £44 delivered on europarts using the 15% discount code ( Bonanza15 )

Good deal, but on another note, my car has gotta go when I found out it'd be £73.39 for battery (with the discount) Everything is too dear for my banger and it's time to go!

No. I know the car part I want.

So you know the part number then? Or do you just know you want some brake pads for your Golf.

You need an electrician to check that there is no drain on the battery while the car is off. Reason for my battery dying was related to the drain from the tracker. Some people will have short lives on their battery if there is an earthing problem too.

Batteries aren't made for specific cars.

when I put my car details it kept showing a smaller sized battery...it would be better if they could list it based on battery number

Before you buy car batteries online, think of what will happen if it requires to be sent back under warranty.

How much is that going to cost?, apart from being without a battery for a long time.

Better to buy local.

Spot on, even then Eurocarparts are funny about honouring flat batteries, tell private customers to come back as they cant test if its completely dead, claim the customer must have a voltage drain etc WTF is the customer supposed to do? Recharge it and come back. With Trade its different they cant try it on...

I bought a Bosch Silver Plus battery, which is the range above the one in this deal, at the beginning of the year for £60 from Costco.

This was cheaper than other Bosch batteries lower down the range being sold by other stores, including ECP, and half the £120 Halfords wanted.

Decided to go with Costco because, as has already been mentioned, if you need to return the battery due to an issue/fault then you don't want to mess around shipping it back to an online retailer for them to test before they even entertain your request for a replacement.

As a comparison, using this deal, the same battery works out to just over £70.

Code not working for me :-(

Did not work for me either

carbatteriesonline were around 6% more expensive. If the 15% discount would work, I'd order it from Euro Car Parts, otherwise I'll head to Costco.

Code was valid for Bank Holiday 25th only. I am expiring this deal now. Hope it helped some people

I agree with both of the above, do be careful. I once had an issue where the battery kept going flat (fortunately the car was under warranty). Turned out to be a faulty radio not shutting down correctly, despite appearing all ok. which meant if I didnt use the car on a Sat & Sunday come monday moring it wouldn't even ulock remotely let alone start.

I've heard all sorts flatten car batteries eg alternators (that will charge up ok, but will leak the battery overnight), radios, phones, trackers, cars not going to "Sleep" correctly. It may always be worth having the battery you have checked for free at most retailers.

That said - please put yourself in the position of the battery supplier if a percentage of alleged (faults) / returns are car related issues and are of no fault of the battery what would you do?
