£15 off crossings from Dover to France!

Got my crossing 30 quid cheaper!

DFDS Seaways’ ferry crossings from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais are a quick, convenient and great-value way to cross the Channel, and now you can save £15 on the cost of a return ticket!
The crossings take just 2 hours, but there is more than enough onboard to keep you busy, with shops, a bar and a self-service restaurant, plus a kids’ club for the little ones.

Take your car across to France and explore Europe with no luggage restrictions onboard. The Dover and Calais ports are ideally located, with transport links to major cities in France, Holland, Germany and Belgium.

OK deal.

We prefer Eurotunnel for the speed & convenience - you just roll up within a few hours of your slot and they still let you on the next crossing without having to faff around like on the ferry crossing.

But this is half the price, true enough.

Depends how you value your time, if you think in terms of £15 an hour, Eurotunnel is better IMV.
Having said all that, I just used Tesco Boost for 3x on Eurotunnel so it was a lot cheaper than this deal
I always prefer Dunkirk because I know a very cheap place where I buy diesel, tobacco, and chocolates for all the family!
Bunicu, can you please divulged where this pcheap place is?

This is the place on google maps!

It is usually cheaper than any Carrefour. I know 100% sure that on diesel is (only had diesels).

I think this is the one that LesD is talking about as well
Cigarette prices are regulated in Belgium, so there won't be much variation between shops. But some give a good exchange rate if you pay in pounds.

As for fuel, I'm surprised the diesel price is better than France. Taxes mean average Belgian diesel is about €1.45 /l compared to €1.30 /l in France.

this place is right at the border.

Don't know how, but they always have cheaper diesel.
For comparison I use: http://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr/
Carrefour is the cheapest but you if ever find yourself around the area, check them out, you will be surprised
