Got my crossing 30 quid cheaper!
DFDS Seaways’ ferry crossings from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais are a quick, convenient and great-value way to cross the Channel, and now you can save £15 on the cost of a return ticket!
The crossings take just 2 hours, but there is more than enough onboard to keep you busy, with shops, a bar and a self-service restaurant, plus a kids’ club for the little ones.

We prefer Eurotunnel for the speed & convenience - you just roll up within a few hours of your slot and they still let you on the next crossing without having to faff around like on the ferry crossing.
But this is half the price, true enough.
Depends how you value your time, if you think in terms of £15 an hour, Eurotunnel is better IMV.

It is usually cheaper than any Carrefour. I know 100% sure that on diesel is (only had diesels).
I think this is the one that LesD is talking about as well
As for fuel, I'm surprised the diesel price is better than France. Taxes mean average Belgian diesel is about €1.45 /l compared to €1.30 /l in France.

Don't know how, but they always have cheaper diesel.
For comparison I use: http://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr/
Carrefour is the cheapest but you if ever find yourself around the area, check them out, you will be surprised
