It was 11% last week. I'd imagine those who bought something then would be annoyed!
Is their quality still as poor as it was 10 years ago
X34p for £850 is pretty decent?
Pro: this works with TCB of 10%
Con: only a few items are 15% off. The swift 1 above is 10% off

You buy from here and then tell us the results.
Right now that z35p price might be ok. But it does come up cheaper on amazon from time to time. I got it for £699 a few months back. I know time machine etc but I would expect it to be less than that from other places in the run up to Christmas.
Z35p was around £600 something week back on ebuyer.
Acer prices are too dam high even after promo code.

Dell Alienware AW3418DW 34 is on £833.99 on newegg.com

Thats a beast worth investing in.

Would the £300 laptop run Photoshop okay?

Or does anyone have a suggestion for another laptop around that price that would be more suitable.
I only need something to run Photoshop and light web browsing but am on a tight budget...

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Not definitely sure but I think probably not. I'm typing from a £350 acer which for the price had good specs on paper a year ago, however it struggles with Lightroom and anything more taxing is a nightmare. This is the only acer i've had and I wouldn't recommend them.
Thank you, oddsocks - much appreciated

Not really.
Photoshop is really processor-bound. Not to mention the the screen in these won't probably be even close to a sRGB standard. Even tho I'm not a fan, I would look for a used mac or even an good iPad.
Thanks ResveZ - greatly appreciated
Z35p was 699 without black Friday deal a few times this year. 765 isn't even worth listing
