Just Eat junk is infuriating, I'm sure the majority hates these pointless emails.
I'm a regular user and have been sent a code so hot from me.
Never get one sent. Not really a deal.

I order quite often and get discounts.
Just got a 15% off last week that I didn't use. Recently had 25% off twice... so what you say is not true.

People are putting their codes up on here and I don’t know if they’ve already been used and I need one for tomorrow!!! I got an email Aswell but with no code, I’m not desperate, I’m just making a request!
I had over £1000 spent on my credit card due to this company. They hold all your details overseas where the security doesn’t match the U.K.s standard. My bank confirmed that my credit card credentials were leaked from just eat but they couldn’t do anything about it. Luckily my bank paid it all back to me but I will never use this company again.
So ordering from our local take away through Just Eat (as opposed to their own website) increases the minimum spend requirement to £8 from £5 and also increases the delivery charge to £1 from 50p. When the fee for using credit/debit cards was scrapped, ordering through Just Eat added a 50p service charge and the take away site itself added 40p. A few weeks later the 40p service charge has been dropped and virtually everything across the menu has increased by 10 or 20p. Talk about rip-off Britain.

And this seems to be the case with a few of our local take-away places too.

How would the bank know how your credit card details were stolen?
I have a few CCs and debit cards in my account and never had this issue. They even use the Mastercard secure code and Visa equivalent.

You have to input the 3- digit code at the back all the time before making a payment as well as they don't memorise it in the account. Someone who stole the details from Justeat would still need that to use your card.

A lot of websites shouldn't store the CVV or CV2 codes, but they do (especially if they are not subject to the rather heavy UK regulatory regime)

There have been lots of high profile cases where this has happened. Remember the Sony Playstation card hack, where 70 million credit & debit cards were completely compromised in their database and cards had to be reissued by the banks: dailymail.co.uk/sci…tml

Oh, and GearBest got hacked a few months back. They lost a huge amount of credit / debit card info (including CVVs) and a lot of HUKD members had their cards hit hard with fraudulent transactions.

That's interesting. I remember them but hadn't been too interested as I have never had anything to do with Sony PSN or Gearbest.
When I order and pay using a stored card in my Justeat account I have to input the code at the back of the card every single time. I just assumed that if they did store that they wouldn't need me to keep inputting it every single time.

Anyway, it wouldn't be just that poster getting hacked if someone had been stealing card numbers etc from Justeat. There would have been a huge number of other customers affected.
Haven't heard of Justeat getting hacked as of now.

Also, I can't understand how the bank would see how the card number etc. had been fraudulently obtained.
If anyone can tell me, I'm curious to know!

Uninstalled my JE (and Hungryhouse) app since the service charge applies to cash payment as well the robbing bar stewards
Is there anyone who has a code and won’t use it this weekend?! I feel like I never get these emails with codes! We’ll be ordering something tomorrow night. Would hugely appreciate a code if someone could PM. Thanks in advance! 🏻
Has anybody go a spare code, please?
Why would you think I made it up ?
I’m just telling you what my bank said.
