Click on the green "Claim your code" button (works only on the desktop version of the website) you can generate your unique code and use that at the checkout.
Also, you need to be logged in on the desktop website to be able to see the green button
Is the claim button on the product page itself? as if so I do not have it?

Can't/won't deliver to Northern Ireland - disgraceful
Prices are still way too high for some of these laptops.
I bought a macbook air(2019) a few months ago, but as a long time windows user, can never get used to mac OS and finding it quite difficult even for day to day tasks. Would something like this be similar in terms of performance to macbook air?

Actually, this is a good question as searching on the HP site this configuration comes with both store.hp.com/UKS…DTP
According to AO it has no SSD.
Thanks for highlighting this. I will find out and in the meantime will stick to the AO description.

If it's a constant issue then move. It's annoying but hardly surprising, it's always been more expensive for Northern Ireland.
Not a constant issue - there is no excuse for companies not to. Vast majority of mainland-based companies deliver to N.I, Highlands & Islands without a problem using Royal Mail, Hermes, TNT etc. and more often than not, same delivery cost as GB.
Can this be used with the £100 off with AO finance?

Where can you get this?
Thanks, I was looking for a reasonable laptop so picked up this for £551 including Wednesday AM delivery

ao.com/pro…spx

Holding it's price at £649 at most other places so £551 seemed like a hot deal.

Specs any good??
In the market for a decent gaming laptop, what's about the price range, worth biting the bullet or hold out for these new releases
keiran551709/03/2020 21:21

Specs any good??

I think so but it all depends what you want it for and what you expect for the £551 after discount. The 256mb SSD may be a little small but some of these models also have a 1tb secondary drive so it should be easy to fit a secondary drive.
The AMD processor looks ok and it has a 3gb GTX1050 card coupled with an HD IPS screen so whilst it's not a cutting edge gaming laptop it should represent good value for money. Looks nice with a backlit keyboard as well.
The ao finance option could u get on finance just to get £100 off then pay outstanding balance as soon as u receive it? Would this way mean minimal interest would be paid.

Good find, thanks! Do you guys think this laptop is good enough for video editing (short projects up to 5 mins)?
Hmmm the only 17 inch i7 laptop they have is out of stock. No business from me then!

Laptop sales are going through the roof lately, with many organisations purchasing laptops for their staff so that they can work from home due to the ongoing coronavirus threat.
Bit the bullet on the HP pavilion 😜😜
Dell have launched 14% deal, wish ao had better laptops on offer. Thanks for sharing deal though,
Spent the last two days trying to order from ao.com - a terrible website. The laptop I want has on 3 occasions shown up as in stock but then out of stock at checkout. Chose another laptop and got an error message when completing AO finance eligibility checker. Will be raising a formal complaint and I’m still without a laptop

Thanks for posting!

With the code I got the HP Pavilion 15-dk0010na for £679.15, plus £100 back after 45 days as I paid with AO finance. The going rate for these is £799 and the cheapest I could find this model is on ebay for was £730 without original box.

Total: £579.15 - a saving of £219.85!

It is indeed a huge saving, but I ordered the same laptop and my order was cancelled without notice. Was expecting it to be delivered today. They need my proof of ID/bank statement to continue, unreal.
