Pretty decent and covers loads of different paints. For example, Dulux Matt emulsion is £16 each which is pretty standard, then they are on offer for 2 for £26 + the extra 15% making them £22.10 for both (£11.05 each)

Covers loads of different types / colours - including the Wickes own brand paints, which works out £8.50 per 2.5L when buying two. Offer on until Monday so good for collection over the weekend if needed.

can you just go in store and get the offer, or do you have to order online?
Any one got advise best paint to choose for 1. ceiling and 2. woodwork gloss paint from the above?? White for both any recommendations?
Wickes pink to white paint is ideal for ceilings. If you're painting white onto white, it's much easier to see where you've been. Their own brand is as well reviewed as the Dulux alternative.
I’m in the trade and recommend dulux trade for undercoat and topcoat and emulsion, ignore anything ‘ one coat’ it’s nonsense in my eyes!

‘One coat’ in paint terms doesn’t really mean it takes one coat to cover. It means self undercoating

Not in all cases no. You can get one coat emulsion

I realised that after I posted. Yeah one coat emulsion is worthless. Any person in the trade will tell you that
3 for 2 at £32 at Homebase works out cheaper if you need 3 tins instead of 2.

What would you recommend some stubborn grease splashed on wall in kitchen
some type of blocker
thanks
2 for £26 plus the extra 15% off the 2.5lt tins is still more expensive on the dulux emulsion compared to b+q who sell it for £20 for 5lt

Thanks I was looking at that one
wasnt sure it was suitable for walls
prefer to pay a bit bit more so only doing job once
I done our lounge in the wickes paint when it was down to 7.50 a tin. And I done another living room using Dulux earlier in the year that was 22 a tin. Not only was the wickes a third the price it is far superior. Used half as much paint and it looks so much better. Dulux can take a run and jump. The wickes paint is very good.

Heard of it but never tried it. I've always used the Dulux solid emulsion that comes in a tray. Lot less splatter but it's not cheap at 24 quid a slab. Think I might try the wickes one next time.

I've always just used lamps on the floor to determine the areas.. not in the habit of decor mind you 8 years back I painted my room and not sure if cheap paint or bad walls but no matter how I coated them it blotched

White oil based undercoat generally works fine as a stain block

Yup, Dulux is £20 in B&Q so if they stock the colour you want it's cheaper to go there.

Yep, I am a fan on Wickes paint too.
So many different views on which paint is best, makes it difficult to decide
Dulux Trade brilliant white for ceilings all day long, more expensive but worth the extra cost, mix it well, i use a my cordless drill and small paddle.
