What's the "Soft touch" about?

Surely every normal person puts a duvet cover on it?

Yes but even if your duvet is filled with pure Scandinavian goose down if it's contained within a crisp packet it won't be very comfortable, even with a duvet cover over it.

Somewhere between the worse quality stiff and scratchy non-woven polyester and pure silk sits this "soft touch 100% polyester".
