Can't you use both? It's effectively a gift card? So use AA 20% off, then this for another 15% (but this is added into the card already so wouldn't seem like a discount more of a bonus instead)..... that's some big savings...

​maybe! not a AA member so can't test it. there may well be T&Cs preventing you to use gift cards to pay on top of AA discount.

You should be able to.

I have used vouchers for the bill and then paid the balance with a gift card.
