I was never credited with the points from their similar offer the other month, despite meeting the criteria, so I'll give this one a miss. Nectar is a pretty hopeless loyalty card all round lately
Then keep the points in case they do another double up...🤞
Slightly off subject but is anyone else amazed that we/customers still cannot use the Nectar app in store. I mean, isn’t that literally the only valuable reason for a digital store card? Otherwise why bother having the app?

Do you have a link to opt in to it - or how does this work? Thanks.

No opt in required, just shop and swipe your card as normal.
Also it's not user specific, I heard it on radio today but couldn't find anything about it till email arrived.

Awesome - just after you posted, I checked and have an email as well Now to find a few things to buy and remember to swipe during those days, this is a good giveaway - thanks a lot.
This is going to get hot in a jiffy too - has to be one of the better Nectar offers in a long time
So you could make £18 ?

No. The points are worth 75p.
Got one too.
So if one spends £3 a day over 3 days = £9

So in theory a freebie?

But over 4 days then it's £3 profit?

Lol sorry my mistake. You spend £12 total (£3x4days) and get back 1800points worth £9.
Then keep the points in case they do another double up...🤞

Cheers!

It's ok, but it's nowhere near as good as the recent offers where you got a minimum of 500 and maximum of 5000 points.

Neither was I. I don't trust these ones which are added much later.
You need to make a note of them and after a while contact them .

Change to a New Nectar card, you'll soon change your mind.

I didn't realise there were tiers to loyalty bonuses depending on how old your Nectar card was.
So can I go to Sainsbury's on these days but the items which are over a pound. Go to the self serve till and purchase these one at a time. That would constitute the purchases would it not?

Yeh that's what I'm going to do on some the days as I wouldn't want loads shopping everyday. Sainsbury's my main supermarket I shop at but I get a bit of everything from all the others

You shouldn't have to should you? Who has the time or the inclination to catalogue and chase 75p worth of points? It should be a seamless process - I don't ever recall having to chase Clubcard points and they seem to rack up a fair bit quicker too.

I used to rate the Nectar card, but it's too much effort for no reward these days.

Apols fat thumbs hit cold instead of hot
This is a good deal, but apart from the once a year double up offer, nectar points are not as good value as clubcard points IMO

so the points don't get credited immediately? then they normally credit them 28 days afterwards. if they don't give you the points, chat to them on their online chat and ask that they credit the points as they would be able to see that you had made the purchases.

Yeah I’ve had the same experience, multiple times. Kinda don’t bother with these anymore bc they don’t make it easy to contact CS

Tbh feels like they’re cheating people

Me neither. I spread my shopping out over the days too.
Proper blew my energy budget doing extra trips to local shop for no extra reward. Not heard anything back from customer service either

The last promo ended on April 10th, so we're well past the 28 days. Sounds like I'm not the only one either, but as mentioned elsewhere, Nectar CS isn't great and I've lost the will to bother chasing money owed that I can save just by shopping elsewhere.

Some Sainsburys I've been in recently have updated to newer scanners at self-checkout that worked with a digital bacode

I have always found nectar chat very helpful. They have always credited missing points when I contact them. You do need to keep an eye on the points as they don't always appear as promised.
