150 photos for £4.50 (6"x4") at Tesco with code and collection, new customers

Just ordered 150 photos @ 5p per print (6x4)= £7.50

As a new customer you get 40 free prints, but they just deduct £2 from the total (40 x 5p = £2)

Then using voucher code XXCF09 this gives £1 off when spending £5 or more

bringing the total to £4.50 if collecting in store

As this works out at 3p per print I thought it was an OK deal

[PLEASE NOTE: there is a Jessops deal previously posted here hotukdeals.com/ite…-va giving 150 FREE prints which is obviously a much better deal]

bloody hell is there any pies that Tesco don't have their fingers in !!!!!

Hot by the way

If you watched the Gadget Show you would know that they did a huge test on the best and Snapfish came out way ahead of the rest.

Its not just about price, its about quality of photo which is just as important.

Depends whether you wanna pay 3p ea for rubbish photo's or 10-20p for top quality ones.

I know which I would choose.

They're better than Boots' photos at least, which have never been anything better than abysmal for me...

Disagree, I have oredered photos from snapfish and other online/offline retailers, to be honest, I can't tell any difference.

I've had photos from Tesco before and they were fine. If I was wanting a professional job I would got to a "proper" place but for general use these were fine. Despite not liking TESCO as a company this is still a hot from me!!!

If you buy 1-49 prints at Tesco they are 20p per print, so just because that is more expensive than buying 150 using these codes and getting them for 3p it doesn't make them any better quality whatsoever!! Surely you can't go on the price you are being charged per print to determine their quality.

Anyway, I collected the ones that I ordered online yesterday from Tesco and I am very pleased with the quality. They are only family snapshots taken on a fairly cheap camera. Their uploading process was so simple too

Tesco prints are horrible. The colour are too bright, bad quality paper.
Asda's quality is a lot better. - and I am a pro photographer - so I know a little bit about this stuff.

Does the store used not make a difference?! As I've seen some terrible prints from asda before from good photos! But then again, from different asda, saw good prints! So unless the machine was playing up at the time?!

The one thing that stops us using asda for prints, is that they use matt paper, and tesco use gloss. The missus hate's matt prints (I prefer them personally :whistling:), but since we gotta go with what she wants, then I just shut up and use tesco for the gloss...

Good deal, but prefer to go to tesco in store, as I dunno what the process is like, but since the images come out at ~4-5mb per pic, uploading 675mb of data would be very time consuming...

I ordered some last week to collect in store was told they'd be ready saturday i went twice on saturday, the first time the guy lied about the machine being broke the second time the lady said was a fault with the online photo centre, went again sunday still no pictures finally the 4th time i went on monday they was ready. Got them home to find the tops and sides was missing on some of the photos. Phoned them up and after 15 minutes the lady hung up, phoned again by this time getting really pee'd off and was told that i had cropped them wrong. I explained i didnt crop any of the photos just uploaded them and selected to print the lot, the guy put me on hold then came back and i was told a digital camera doesnt recognise 6x4 so if when i went to the basket i would need to click to crop every photo to move the green box to the area i wanted printing. Spent another 2 hours messing around and after a week finally had the photos that should have been done within 24 hours. Wouldnt recommend tesco photos to anyone

I've tried tescos several times, and always wonder why I went back - (they gave 250 points last time and free 1GB SD Card - I guess they are OK for most people who get prints to give away - but I just dont like them.

Anyone using commercial labs such as this is no pro, perhaps an avid user but never a Pro!! I would NEVER let Asda, Tesco et-all loose on my wedding assignments, that would be dumb, but for general snaps they are fine!! perhaps your tesco do a bad job??

Yes I watched the Gadget show & Snapfish won but Tesco were in the final 5 and they said it was close - not way ahead.

So Hot deal from me
