was put on app in spaces, but not come out on advert. not my problem if the app can't process the info. perhaps it fell asleep

anyone know the difference in quality compared to halfords professional range?

I've got the 170 Halfords professional set which is better made & lifetime guarantee, this has 12 months & not quite as well made. price was £125 versus £50 for this one.
hope this helps.

Not much local stock for me but free delivery and 45 day return policy. I have some Torq spanners and they're actually pretty good, so I'll give this a go. Thanks

Just bought one seems as good as halfords but hey for £50 it's alright

I don't like cheap tools ....however this looks very similar to the Halfords sets?

Heat added - get them while you can .

Probably made by Apex in the same Taiwanese factory as the halfords stuff, along with draper expert, gearwrench, some blue point etc.

So you have tested both sets? Making such a statement would at least demand some greater detail.
All this **** about Halfords stuff being so wonderful is getting quite boring (not having a go at you personally).Every post about tools always gets someone banging on about Halfords stuff. I use Draper Expert, and think it is great.

I checked this tool set out in B&Q just out of interest. I didn't buy because honestly more tools is the last thing I need.

The quality seemed pretty decent actually. I probably wouldn't want to earn my living with them but for occasional use or the home/enthusiast mechanic I reckon they're just as good as the Halfords stuff. The benefit (to my mind) of this set is that the sockets are all 6 point whereas with the Halfords you get 12 point (bleeuurgh!)

Being realistic about the Halfords warranty, the only thing most people will ever break is the ratchet mechanisms, and they're not covered anyway. OK, you might snap the odd hex bit if you're being a bit optimistic with its strength on a seized bolt or something. But the difference in price between this and the equivalent Halfords set can buy a lot of replacement hex bits...

Most Draper Expert is literally the same stuff as Halfords Pro, with a different name stamped on it.

Aye, and about a third of the price if you wait for an Amazon price drop. I have three Draper Expert socket sets, had them for years, look after them and they are as good as new. Cost me much less than 100 quid for the whole set.

I had 3/4 ratchet replaced along with T45 bit and screwdriver bit holder with no questions asked. It is all up to the person at the tilt what he/she want to do for you. I paid £50 for the medium set 5 years ago.

One set left in B&Q Nottm (Queens Drive) if anybody's interested. Quality actually seems very good (although time will tell). Never a fan of blow moulded cases and this one shows why. Many of the components don't fit well in the case and either drop out or are very difficult to fit in their slots. Can't fault quality feel of actual tools though. Hopefully they are as good as they feel. For £45 (with B&Q club card offer), this could be a great bargain.

I bought the set for my sons to use instead of my Halfords set, as neither of them put stuff back in the correct places. with this set they can put it in their cupboard, & I can't see if they've been tidy or not. result:- no arguments

Just picked one up in Stevenage (one still left) great deal and looks very good quality.

very happy you've got one. my kids loved theirs, so much so, on my way to local store, hoping to pick up their last one in stock for their friends birthday present off them to him. only problem is that they won't let me c&c as its the last in stock. WEIRD...
