1500 Free Apple T-Shirts (Eldon Square, Newcastle) 16/2/10

Just recieved this email from apple:

Come to the new Apple Store, Eldon Square and bring your curiosity. It's the best place to learn all about the Mac, check out an iPod and see all the amazing things an iPhone can do. And if you find something you like, take it home that day. When you get to the store, find a Specialist in a blue shirt. The Specialists are your guides to everything from checking in for an appointment to instant check-out. If you're one of the first 1,500 visitors, you'll get a free Apple T-shirt.* Additionally, 250 current Mac owners can buy a One to One membership for personal training, normally available only with the purchase of a new Mac.**

* No purchase necessary. While supplies last.

** Limited to the first 250 customers.

Space for workshops and presentations is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Image pictured just plucked from the web.

WOW ... an apple product that isn't overpriced :whistling:

If I wanted matching trousers would they need to be Mac trousers? and would they cost 3 times as much as other trousers? ...... but make me feel superior anyway?

I would rather tred in dog poo.

In the old days I would have dragged myself out of the Blackett  to grab one of these - no longer in Newcastle though...

So you're the kind of person that wears a t-shirt with trousers are you?

That sounds tasteful doesn't it?

Let me guess, socks with sandals too?... not advisable if you wish to "tred" in dog poo though.

Anyhow, your tone appears to make you sound inferior as opposed to your attempt at implying that Macintosh owners are superior (which of course we are)... Freud would have had a field day with you.

Could say the same for those of you that wear Lyle and Scott clothing, or any branded fashion wear.

Rather silly comment really.

Nice one

A free t-shirt is a free t-shirt.

that is a clothing brand: a direct comparison to the apple brand.

a more correct comparison would be to buy a Lyle and Scott laptop pureply because of the brand.

These t-shirts represent an astonishingly bad opinion of your own customers. No better than a free coca cola or tesco shirt. you are not a free billboard.

nice one

I'll not be getting one, I only posted as I got the email.
However are you a football fan? Do you own any replica shirts? If not how do you feel about people paying to wear football shirts that carry a sponsor.

The schools are off next week so there will be 10,000 spotty kids in the que...

Heat added as it's Freeeeeeeee!
