A woman with freshly sharpened nails is a no no

I would buy this to sharpen my wooden stakes on, in case she starts to nag again....

..good price, voted hot, however consider buying a dremel drill, shedloads of attatchments, I use it for chainsaw teeth sharpening, mower blades, tricky fine work, removing grouting, cutting insulation boards, drilling wood, sharpening axes & billhooks, rust removal, cut outs for ceiling lights etc, cutting cement boards etc..

(Dremel are owned by Bosch, who also own skil-tools, so most if not all attachments for dremel fit the skil variant) ..you only need to go into a local diy store to get bits, ebay, or various competetive websites.

(I actually used this in my fireplace when fitting a woodstove in order to grind out lumpy cement in order to re-use the terracotta lining & obtain a better seal (job cost £2.90 in accy's) ..you simply find more stuff you can do with them, ..quite addictive & helpful for odd jobs

Just remember to wear some safety goggles

.

can you still get dremel bits? I went into a couple of stores for some sanding discs and they said that you can only buy the 150piece sets now.

all over the place, try googling, my favourite though (unless theres a special deal on something elsewhere) is 3 x firms called ... Beesley's
... Lawsons
...David Hendry (google again)

All very competetive, I think i'll have to stick up a separate deal thread..

I have one of these and find the sander side invaluable, fairly low powered and easy to push too hard and stall it, nevertheless it is a great bit of kit for the price.

What size sanding belts does this use? (I bought one but but it's not with me at the moment so I can't check myself!) ....anyone got one & know the belt size?
