Congratulations on posting your 100th Plusnet deal

Why would you do this when for £2 more you get 3gb data?

Because not everyone uses 3GB, so they would be saving £2 per month. Just because you use that much, it doesn't mean everybody does.

Well he/she wouldn’t be the only one indulging in that practice on here ....
Its all he does is post plusnet deals! Even stays up until the website changes after midnight. Obsessed with the voting system here. Don't think he realises you are not getting paid

plusnet is the best value sim only provider out there at the moment in my opinion. they piggy bag on EE and their signal are decent if you don't have issues with EE signal.

customer service is very good and helpful. hot from me
I'm also a happy camper Plusnet customer, with two SIM only deals and broadband too.

If you call them they are doing 2GB, unlimited calls, unlimited text for £6. My wife has switched to this just now.
Great price.. Xiaomi phone and Plusnet.. that's £250 for 24 months sorted

Virgin Mobile uses EE network as well. And their prices are similar, too.

Having been with Virgin and plusnet, I trust plusnet more than Virgin, as plusnet does not increase prices of plans after purchase like Virgin does.

The max I use is always under 1gb and my data plan is 2.3gb on £5 month.

Retentions deal? Besides, you said it's £2 more for 3gb which is what my reponse was based on

You answer to the question on their website: Are you an existing Plusnet broadband customer?

If "Yes, I Am" then this applies: Mates Rates Exclusive: Get a better deal for as long as you have Plusnet broadband

£6 for 2gb and unlimited minutes for their broadband users
£6 for 1.5gb and 2000 minutes for the rest

great thanks, im on live chat now getting their contracts upgraded, not a bad deal for £6
Thanks for posting, heat.
Topcashback £3 cashback.

Been looking for a deal for my kids first phone, and I don't want to give him too much.
Has a £2 (minimum) cap (above the £6) so that he can't go crazy if he goes over his data allowance, etc.

Also, these sims don't support premium numbers, so you can't accidentally subscribe to those pesky £4.50pm text services.

Only problem I encountered is that my Direct Debit address for my card is not the same as my current address (still to move with bank, registered at mother-in-law as whilst we moved house). This resulted in the contract failing to be set up (I understand) but still charged my "first month advance payment" to my card. 3 times (total £18) as I tried 3 different cards. I'm told that will be returned in a few days, but they should not have taken it at all. 4th time (and a total of £24) lucky with another card and my order has now been placed.

Not too fussed as I will get my £18 back. Or there will be hell to pay... but their system is clearly set up the wrong way (do the check before taking payment, not the other way around).

I got the 2500 mins 2gb data for £6 @ virgin. Cold

Me too
As others have said certainly worth giving them a call, I recently joined on 2.25gb, 250mins, 5000 texts for £5 per month (I am an existing Plusnet broadband user).

Please take note Plusnet will take payment for 1st month before conducting a credit check, if you fail the credit check it will take up to 14 days to be refunded.

So? That's my point, you can use 10GB easily but others can't. Some people just use data to browse the internet and check emails, not game and watch videos which eats up data. Some people are just connected to WiFi most of the time.
You can also get 2.5GB for £7 or 4GB for £8, if you don't see it online give them a call.
Got 2.25GB for £5 on a retentions deal today (don't have Plusnet broadband). Originally had 1.5GB for the same price so I'm happy with the new tariff
COLD
just use smarty.co.uk
Unlimited calls / texts, £5 - £7.50

It may seem more expensive but you get refunded for any unused data, no min term, no credit check.
Owned by Three, apparently sorting out the no roaming thing as Three are overhauling their roaming network to allow 4G aboard, this month?

For example I barely use 1GB on my Galaxy S9 as im generally always connected to wifi, so for all these low price contract, just get smarty and it totally takes out the guess work out of how much data you will need to pay for...

Not everyone gets good signal on Three though. For example, I have a fault with the signal in my area that hasn't been fixed for months so signal is useless. The only reason I have some Three PAYG SIMs is because of the 200mb data rewards for free is handy for my second phone.

100% of the time they messed up PAC transfer. 1st time it never went through. Months later they said the new port would not go through and to call a again and suddenly it was ported without notice. I had no phone access as the number was ported and new sim was at home.

Carrier is EE and I can't get reception at home, and there's no reception at the hospital either. Wouldn't be too bad if it was Voda as it's about the only one I can get a signal on !
Good deal but I get unlimited mins and texts and 3GB FOR £3.50 with these. Not my fault they applied two discounts lol
Sounds like a fantastic deal what’s the catch
