Tesco have changed the value to 3x now so the railcards are only £10 in points.
The code Tesco email expires in 6 months so you can get this now even if your current card isn't due to expire just yet.

Fingers crossed they'll add the 26-30 Railcard when that's fully available from January!

They are still there until end of Jan.

You can exchange your Clubcard vouchers for this partner until 31 January 2019. Any vouchers you receive must be redeemed within 6 months; the expiry date will be shown clearly on your vouchers.

Can you pay via cash and vouchers? At x3 obviously that's only £9. Can't recall using Tesco vouchers before so wasn't sure, only very occasionally shop there.

I'm not sure really but can't see why you can't do that. There's a promo code box where you copy and paste the code. I'd imagine it deducts the amount and you pay the outstanding amount with card etc

The card still cost £30.

Now £1 is worth £3 so £10 worth of vouchers = £30 to use on the Railcard site.

So add £10 worth to basket will get you £30 voucher to spend.

If you don't have enough vouchers, you can add other friends or family members vouchers to your order.

Thanks, I ended up with an odd total of the vouchers available.

Don't mess up and buy two separate vouchers like I did, turns out they can't even apply two vouchers to a Railcard order from their end...

Tesco allows you to add other peoples vouchers to your account to use so it's only one voucher. I know it works with relatives at same address. Not tried it with people living at different addresses.

Thanks OP, just got this with vouchers that I would otherwise probably have forgotten about!
Are vouchers allowed to be bought/sold? I need to renew soon and unfortunately don;t have a tesco clubcard account
So many times I’ve used a railcard only to find it’s less than 50p saving on the available fare. Once it was actually 1p and even the rail counter guy said “that’s so wrong! Not worth buying it.”. But buy it each year I do and I doubt I get £30 or more benefit.

As far as I'm aware it's always 33%? So if 50p saving your ticket must have cost 1.50 total.

They're always long distance but often the fares are discounted/on promotion to the public anyway. It's not an important thing, as I said I buy it annually, just struggle to get much savings from it. The comment at Paddington from the clerk I thought summed it up well.

Again, always 33% off even on already discounted fares. I personally make the difference on one trip sometimes.

It''ll save me £35 on one super off-peak return trip to London, so I'm winning straight away.

I used to always use family members Clubcard points together with mine but when I tried last month on eating out vouchers they did not come through, rang Clubcard and was advised they are no longer allowing you to use someone else’s vouchers
National Rail seem very coy about the prices for this card, I have a friend with a 3 year disabled pass which cost £54 and lasts 3 years. This is not available on the Tesco deal which is a shame, but the one year card is not the £30 Tesco claim on their webpage, but is £20.

Still a reduction, but not as good as they are claiming it to be.
