OK, this isn't for everyone, but if you have a Tesco Clubcard account and £260 in vouchers available this will buy a 16Gb WiFi only iPad 4 with Retina Display. RRP is £399 so this is a huge saving on something that is rarely discounted.

The iPad is delivered directly from Apple - Tesco state a 14 day delivery, but mine was ordered on Monday and arrived on Friday.

There is a limited selection of iPads available. all at a good saving but the 16Gb WiFi iPad4 seems to be the best bargain - faster processor than the 2nd Gen and a better display. I don't need/want one with a SIM socket, but the 64Gb cellular version is a big saving over RRP. It's a pity they don't offer a 64Gb WiFi only one...

iPads available:

iPad 2 16Gb WiFi only (black or white) £215 (RRP £329)

iPad 4 16Gb WiFi only (black or white) £260 (RRP £399)

iPad 4 16Gb WiFi + Cellular (black or white) £325 (RRP £499)

iPad 4 64Gb WiFi + Cellular (black or white) £430 (RRP £659)

There's also a selection of iPods, Apple TV and a Macbook Air in the offer all at good savings on RRP.

As stated above, these are ONLY available to Clubcard members with sufficient vouchers available to cover the purchase price.

We have a Tesco credit card and put nearly all our spending on it (and pay it off in full every month) so the Clubcard points/vouchers build up fairly quickly - I bought my last car using the credit card and got Clubcard points on the £4K purchase price! We normally use the points to pay for a holiday but for various reasons we can't go away this year, so decided to blow most of our accumulated vouchers on the iPad.

Not sure this is that hot when £260 of vouchers would normally get you at least £780 in deals!

We recently exchanged just over £400 in vouchers and got 2 upper class return flights to New York (just paid taxes and charges which was still less than the price of 2 economy flights). Think I'd rather spend my vouchers on something worth more than an ipad.

But not an Ipad.

Cold. Vouchers worth 3 or 4 times the value on eating/days out (plus other things)....Thinks I'd rather have £1040 of meals or days out entries rather than an iPad
or save them for double up in store when offers on mobiles etc

Think I ll rather have an Ipad for this price if I am into Ipads but am not, each to their own though...

I feel a chill coming on!

Yes as others have said this would get you mega frequent flyer miles. 83400 BA Avios for example. Enough for a Club Return to the US (Plus £500 taxes) yes high taxes but great way to fly! Then buy an iPad over their which is cheaper anyway!

Think after spending £26,000 in Tesco to accumulate enough points to get an iPad I'd of probably already of gone off the idea a long time ago!

Can I pay half of it with Vouchers and half with cash?

Actually you would need 100k for a club return not to mention that even with the miles the chances of ever being able to find a rewards flight to the US is now bordering on close to a miracle!!

Special offer at clubcard and virgin club miles at the mo with them giving you 970 miles for every £2.50 in vouchers. You need 80000 miles to get you an upper class return to New York. So for just over £400 I got 2 return flights booked for August.

80k will get you Club World to East Coast US such as Washington DC, New York, Philly, Boston, Chicago and no doubt Miami, Atlanta etc. They reduced the rate to East Coast US a year or so ago.

Banned

Lol still the Apple sheep can't work out prices and have no clue about technology.

Great laugh though. Cold

Didnt know this but still maintain more chance of my lottery numbers coming up than being able to actually book a half sensible date/time combo trip with miles!
