I think this is an excellent price given the return transport is included (with checked luggage also being incorporated into the price). Please note that the price is based on two people travelling. If you wish to book please check all the prices are still live before booking any stage

1) Book your Eurostar - £44p/p.The prices includes taking a large suitcase The date you select depends on how much time you would like in Paris, for the example below I just selected the date (23rd March) one day before the cruise departs. Hotels will need to be booked separately. Alternatively, you can book the Eurostar on the same day as the flight (step 2) as the first Eurostar arrives into Paris at 09:27 (with the flight departing Paris Orly at 16:25) but whether you want to take this small risk of something going potentially wrong is up to you.

2) Book your flight from Paris Orly to Fort de France (24th March) via Level. Ensure you select the PLUS option as this includes checked luggage. £145p/p. This gives you 3 days to explore Martinique before your cruise departs

3) Book your cruise via Costa Cruises. The cruise is full board although alcoholic drinks are extra with the price being based on an interior cabin. Please note the page is in French so it is recommended that you use the Google Translate plugin to translate the page. £206.34p/p. The route of the cruise is: Martinique – Guadeloupe – St. Lucia – Canary Islands (Arrecife) – Gibraltar – Barcelona – Nice – Marseille. Please note there is a service charge of £8.50p/p per day although after reading reviews it appears this can be taken off if you go to the reception immediately after you depart Martinique.

4) Book your flight from Marseille back to London Heathrow with BA. Example date 15th April (a couple of days after your cruise arrives) but of course again feel free to change this Ensure you add hold luggage as this is not included in the base fare!! £55p/p.

Be careful with booking cruises not part of a package. I've heard several instances of people booking a cruise outside of a holiday package and the cruise getting "cancelled" at the last minute, in which case you are still liable for the eurostar and flight costs.
The last one I heard was 2 weeks ago on the radio where someone booked a non-packaged cruise at a good price for their anniversary, got a call a day before they were due to set off from a travel agent saying the ship had engine problems and the cruise had to be cancelled. The person booked another cruise from the same port at thrice the price and when arriving at the port to his surprise the ship from the first cruise was there ready to sail, no report of engine failure. Supposedly his seat got resold at a higher price which is why they made up the excuse to cancel his booking.

Not saying that this will happen, hopefully Costa Cruises is one of the better ones?

That's outstanding value. Well done for researching the various stages. No doubt there will be the usual negative comments about Costa and the ship will almost certainly be catering for French passengers which will irritate some. If you have the time and the cash go for it.
You can also get the Eurostar from London to Marseille

true but you need to change at paris between gare du nord and gare de lyon so include the Metro in between
Thanks, that's a lot of time and effort on your part. Heat for sure!
Good work,
I went to Martinique last year, it was fabulous. If I had the time I'd book this. HOT
Warning, this is a french cruise with entertainment in french. Theatre, shows, etc will not be any use to you if you don't understand french.

True but in the case of planes if the cancellation is less than 14 days from the departure date, you are entitled to compensation. Not the case with cruises which leaves customers open to rogue travel agents.
