Ok, before I get tarred and feathered for not having all the details... I haven't bought one, I don't want to buy one, so I can't give exact details but for anyone looking to buy an X-trail it seems worth considering.

I am a member of the Caravan and Motorhome club, and it seems we get special offers. This is one I've spotted, and with the list price of an X-Trail being anything from £21,995 this is a saving of around £3000, but there is a catch... You have to join CaMc first! Though at only £51,that's a saving of £2,949 on a basic model. No doubt there are other deals out there, and as I said in not looking at buying one myself but I thought I'd post it as it could possibly save one person a wedge of money.

Look at the picture for more details.

Sorry, I didn't go that far. As I said I wasn't interested personally, but a 3 grand saving seemed good for a £50 investment.
Heat from me for giving the heads up.
If I was in the market for one of these and not a caravan club member though I would use this info to squeeze the same deal out of the local dealer. Who pays the price on the screen?

Since Nissan joined up with Renault, I'd not touch one with a bargepole! Anyhow, any dealer will match the offer, you only have to ask and simply walk out if they kick back. I'm a C&CC member and prefer to enoy the offers at good campsites.

Deposit contribution? Oh, they'll get it back and then some by charging high interest rates and not giving you any freebies. Read the small print as there's ALWAYS a catch

For most of the Caravan Club offers you have to be a member for 3 or 6 months, so only good if you really need the membership in the first place...
Autoebid are showing a discount of 22% if anyone wants one of these. And needless to say, you don't need to join the caravan club to buy one. For the record I have used Autoebid before and my experience was good.
Not passing comment specifically on the xtrail, but Nissan build / reliability is not what it once was. I have colleagues with Qashqai and a Juke - the Juke has had several warranty items on it, and the Qashqai suffer a failed clutch at 30K, but Nissan refused to cover it as it was "fair wear and tear".......cost £1600 to fix. I quite like them, but has put me off
