Just found this on TK Maxx online for a great price. £155.00 seems the next best price (slightly cheaper on other websites from a quick Google search, but they looked dodgy!) This is the description from the Denby website...

The 1815 Aqua 16 Piece Dinner Set is a bright and bold set that features a summer-inspired aqua hand dipped glaze, crafted from porcelain and perfect for dining with friends and family.

The Royal Doulton Collections observe the expressive and varied styles discovered in the lofts, studios and apartments of 'new London' through creative use of materials, patterns, colours and textures.

Take an adventure back to the beginning of Royal Doulton with the heritage-inspired 1815 collection. Taking direct inspiration from the year that John Doulton founded the company, this compilation of stylish pieces commemorates original patterns, hand-thrown shapes and dipped glazes to take you right back to the roots. Rendered in beautifully crafted porcelain and shaped into simple but incredibly striking silhouettes, all of these items feature a subtle dipped glazing effect in a plethora of colours to suit your home…with the beauty being that each item is different therefore offering a unique finish.

Wooden pizza boards, serving trays and spoons effortlessly complement the selection of cups, saucers, mugs, plates, olive trays and serving dishes for a full dining set that you can use everyday…or take it outside and dine alfresco with these beautifully bright pieces.

Not being funny but what's that special about this plates and cups to cost £155?
Dinner sets are not my hobby, that's why I'm asking.
I do know they are on sale, I was asking about full price.

If you get any visitors and they turn them upside down and see the stamp they’ll think your not a cheapskate other than that don’t think anyone one would pay the full price for the design

I know TK MAX always say their stock isn't seconds, or rejected.... However I have only had bad experiences with them. e.g. I had a 10 year old dinner plate set which was missing a few bits because of breakages over the years, so I bought a few from TK MAX. However when they went in the microwave the whole dish heated up a lot (it said they were microwave safe). They also only lasted a year before they cracked and broke. Older ones bought at full price from elsewhere were still going strong.

I might have just been unlucky however I've had a few similar experiences.
Sold out.
