I do like a sausage butty!

Pitty all you get here then is Testicles and Eye Lids!:-D

If you like these then you can get the thin variety in Poundland along with a pack of nice bacon.

half a dozen eggs and you have enogh for a fry up for the family for £3! Now thats cheap eating...:-D

Richmond Sausages make the perfect accompaniment and integral ingredient to create a Sausage Hash / Pie. One of my favourite dishes and all time traditional recipes.

Pity is mainly made of fat hardly any meat content

Nothing wrong with these sausages. Very tasty!!

bangin' bangers, hot

16 fresh ones for £1.29 in netto from thursday

they may be tasty but they only contain 41% meat !

Ingredients
PORK (41%), WATER , PORK FAT (10%), RUSK , POTATO STARCH , SOYA PROTEIN CONCENTRATE, SALT , INGREDIENTS LESS THAN 1%: FLAVOURINGS, STABILISERS: DIPHOSPATES; GUAR GUM, ANTIOXIDANTS: VITAMIN C & E (E300 & E307), PRESERVATIVE: SODIUM METABISULPHITE, COLOUR: RED 2G., FILLED INTO NON UK BEEF CASINGS

Yummy :-D

41% "meat" and I wouldn't like to guess which bits:w00t: ] Here's some interesting reading. These sausages don't even meet the British minimum meat-content standards! That tasty tasty flavour is thanks to e-numbers 620-640.

Who cares, they taste ace. Nowt wrong with a few E's either:thumbsup:

They meet British minimum meat-content standards:

41% pork + 10% pork fat = 51% meat.

I make sausage at home and you find many posts that sausage only contain x% of meat some say 70% is not enough. To make a good sausage you need:
A: good quality meat & fat. usually 50/50 pork shoulder and pork belly
B: Rusk or breadcrumbs around 10%
C: water around 10% depending on the water content of the meat.
D: 10% spices, salt, pepper, sage etc..

A 100% meat sausage is called a burger. 70% is a good high quality one but you can make excellent sausage with only 50% meat if the ingredients are good.

but for £1.50 the richmond are ok i guess. i wouldn't eat them though

Make your own search google for sausagemaking. around £70 setup cost and away you go

41% meat???

u r right guys.,they should all watch this
bbc.co.uk/ipl…at/

I'm not going to vote cold because of it, but I would never buy any sausages with less than about 85-90% meat - preferably higher. I think Tesco had some with 96% last time I looked. Proper yummy!:-D

Also, support your local butcher!:x
