I'm looking for a similar ESATA device.

I am more than happy to put a hard disk in an enclosure myseld, but I need the disk to be 7200 RPM and I also need to be host powered or have it's own battery charger

I've had this exact drive for a couple of months now and it works very well, I've even used it on an iMac. A couple of things are worth mentioning though; the LED is very bright and the software is very basic. And if anyone's interested mine has a hitatchi drive inside.

I reckon a bus-powered 7200rpm desktop hard drive would look like some sort of hydra with one eSATA connection (which doesn't provide power) and 3-4 USB connections (each provides 2.5W of power). :whistling:
