Not much to say other than a dirt cheap 160Gb internal SATA hard drive. Handy to have to repair your families computers if they just use it to surf the web.
Ordered a couple and it seems to have gobe through ok.
Online only, no pick up in store available.

160gb ? Barely enough for a couple of games these days.

Average installed game size on PC 10-13GB, even conservative estimates say u will get more than a couple games on here. Personally I'd keep as spares for replacing adds in machines that have no use of large drives.
This is more than enough for a boot drive anyway......

Not everyone plays video games on pc... Ps3 is better...

I got L4D, L4D2, JC2, FC2 and Fallout 3 as well as Windows 7 and all my other programs installed and it takes less than 100GB. Two of these would be pretty decent in RAID0 if you ask me :P

FSX plus add ons

Good price, heat added

Dont use PC for ganes, so 160GB more than enough for my progs, photos, MP3's etc.

Heat.

avoid this drive, as you can see in the picture it has no cover, allowing dust etc to get in
good price

…but on the plus side, it is only the size of my thumbnail.

ah well spotted, was about to hit the buy button, do they sell the covers separately? couldn't find anything on the site, also does it mean I need to use it in an external caddy? might be a reason its cheap!

Indeed, or even more for faster speeds, with the obvious added risks of course.

I would if I were you - there's also a danger that as the drive spins up, centrifugal forces will cause the bytes to fly off, and without a cover to hold them in they could damage your computer or even hit you in the eye.

This product is very cheap, but I always think safety should be paramount.

Remember to get some stabilisers also, you don't want data slippage.

Excellent price, but looks like they've all gone now....too slow again.:(

A good deal for those who got one.

£9.99 could be the right price. can be usefull i must say but 3 of these are not even 50gb. Can buy 1gb for less than £40

What on earth are you talking about?

3 x 160GB = 480GB (a bit more than 50GB..)

And I bet most people can buy 1GB for less than £40. A lot less.

And are games are getting smaller or bigger ?
And in the not-too-distant future games will be the same size gb-wise ?
Let's say me and you disagree chum.

All gone, move along, nothing to see here.

What does that even mean?

Hot, if you want a cheap HD for a web browsing PC for the grandparents, this is perfect. Not everyone is a pr0-g4m3r with massive xvid collections and game-add ons.

I could think of one good use for this, if it were still available at a low price, and that is to take an entire drive image of (for example), a netbook, to store away in one’s attic just in case (in case anyone ever keeps anything important just on their netbooks, that is)

sorry, i meant 500gb and 1tb, obviously.
